Intro
Via the ROR of July and August-1924, the Khalifa gave a speech at the 1923 Jalsa at Qadian which was a Part-2 from the previous Jalsa, the title was Salvation VIII. See also the ROR of Feb-June-1924. Ahmadiyya sources claim that 10,000 people attended this Jalsa, which is an obvious lie (see the ROR of Feb-1924). See also the February-1924 edition of the ROR, the 1923 Jalsa is also recorded. Mirza Bashir Ahmad was in-charge of the whole Jalsa, in terms of management and finances. Ahmadiyya sources claim that Mirza Sharif Ahmad gave a short speech, which is odd. The Jalsa took place at the Noor Mosque, near the high school buildings.
