Intro
Noorudin and his team (Maulvi Abdul Kareem and Mufti Sadiq) believed that Esa (as) had a biological father before they had ever met Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, they took this new belief from Sir Syed, who wrote it in 1880. They all worked together in Jammu, with Noorudin being the boss. Nevertheless, Noorudin and his team held the belief that Esa (as) had a biological father until 1903, wherein it is reported by Noorudin himself that he was forced to change his position on the order of MGA. However, after MGA died, per Lahori-Ahmadi sources, Noorudin ordered Muhammad Ali to write in his commentary of the Quran that Esa (As) had a biological father.    The Qadiani branch went on to call the miraculous birth of Esa (as) as less then a miracle and some sort of rationally explained phenomenon. Obviously, the classic islamic view is that Esa (as) was born miraculously, just like Adam (as). By the will of Allah. Interestingly, in 1902, the English ROR discussed the possibility of a biological father of Esa (as). In the same year, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed that Maryam got a Nikkah while 6-7 months pregnant with Eisa (as) (astagfarullah) and that Maryam was married when the angel blew into her (see 21:91). By 1908, MGA and his team of writers alleged that Maryam impregnated herself (see the quote in the below).

However, the Lahori-Ahmadi’s via Muhammad Ali and his famous 1918 commentary used MGA’s argument. In 1918, via the ROR of May, the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s objected to the Lahori-Ahmadi belief that Eisa (As) had a biological father, which was clearly written in Muhammad Ali’s 1917 english commentary of the Quran. The secretary of the “Anjuman Taraqi-e-Islam” called this specific belief of the Lahori-Ahmadi’s as running counter to Islam. However, this was stolen from Sir Syed and by MGA himself. In 1927, the Ahmadiyya Movement claimed that Parthenogenesis created Eisa (as), not Allah. The same arguments were made in the first edition of the Moslem Sunrise (July-1921) by Muftree Muhammad Sadiq. Thus proving that as early as 1921, the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s had came up with this ideology.

“Our faith and belief is this that Jesus was born of no father, and Allāh has the power to do all things. The rationalists, called Naturies among us, who try to establish that he was born of a human father they are making a serious blunder. The Lord God of such people is a dead Lord God. The prayers and supplications of such people are not granted who assume that Allāh cannot cause a child to be born independently of the agency of a human male in the role of a father. We consider a man who holds this view to have fallen out of the pale of Islam.”

In the english ROR of April 1902, on pages 143-144, it is discussed how some new sect of Muslims called “Naichri” in english as “Naturalist”. They were referring to the followers of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan at the Aligarh University, who were all Quranist and also denied the physical return of Esa (as) as well as the fatherless birth as early as 1880. It is strange that the ROR refers to them as such.

“”I honour not only the Messiah, but also his four brothers,1 as all five of them were sons of the same mother. I also regard his two biological sisters as pious, for they are all from the womb of the Holy Virgin Mary. Mary’s greatness lies in the fact that she abstained from marriage for quite a time and eventually yielded only due to the insistence of her elders during pregnancy. Certain people object that Mary married during her pregnancy, which is against the teachings of the Torah. In this way, she wrongfully broke her covenant of remaining a virgin and also opened the door to polygamy, since Mary agreed to enter into matrimony with Joseph the Carpenter, though he was already married at the time. However, I say that these were compelling circumstances, which happened to arise, and for this reason both ought to be looked upon with mercy rather than disdain.

Footnote: Christ the Messiah had four brothers and two sisters who were related to Christ by blood and were the children of Joseph and Mary. The names of his four brothers are (1) Judas, (2) James, (3) Simon and (4) Justus. The names of his two sisters are (1) Assia and (2) Lydia. In 1902, MGA said Maryam was married when the angel blew into her – ahmadiyyafactcheckblog

Commentary
MGA said that Maryam had a nikkah with Joseph while she was pregnant. Razi even quoted 4:24 of the Quran as he argued that Maryam must have been married to Joseph (since MGA said so), while she was pregnant with Eisa (as). Razi was quoting the phrase “wa mushanatoo” (word was used 5 times in the Quran) in 4:24 and said that Maryam was also called “wa mushanatoo”, however, Razi was trying to link muh-sanaat to ahsanat. Eventually, Razi conceded. He did mention how MGA called this as a “historical error” in Islam (astagfarullah)(See Malfuzat, Vol-3, page 175-176).

Translation
“”Maulvi Mubarak Ali mentioned that Hazoor in support of the matter that Maryam AS never married her entire he presents this proof from the Quran:  Surah Al Anbiya verse 92
MUHSANAT was mentioned in the Holy Qur’an about married women. And WALATI AHSANNAT FURGAHA (21:92) The meaning is that she protected herself from committing adultery. Where did they get this from that she did not marry all his life?”””

In a recent live stream, Bro Imtiaz showed a reference (3:11:28 time stamp) from Malfuzat, Vol-3, page 305 (sub ref is not given). In this quote, MGA explains the birth of Eisa (as) by comparing it with Male men breastfeeding infants. In fact, as early as 1882, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was indirectly denying Quran 3:49, as he denied the miracles of Esa (as). MGA said exact same thing in 1886, via Surma Chasmay Arya (See the full quote in the below). Thus, Ahmadi’s redefine the word miracle and allege that rare natural phenomenon are miracles.

“One of the doctrines we hold is that Jesus Christ and John the Baptist were both born miraculously . . . And the secret in creating Jesus and John in this manner was the manifestation of a great sign . . . And the first thing He [God] did to bring this about was the creation of Jesus without a father through the manifestation of Divine power only.” (Mawahib al-Rahman, pp. 70-72).

“And this is also a part of our belief that the birth of Jesus took place against the normal laws”…….

“Either we believe that Jesus was born on the decree of God, such is the way of Allah, He creates what He pleases, When He decrees a thing He says to it, ‘To be,’ and it is. Or, God forbid, his birth was illegitimate.” (Ruhani Khaza’in, v. 19, Introduction to the book Page 17).

Translation
Mary was slandered/accused and this slander humiliated the wonder of the birth of Eisa (as). But in this slander, the Jews alone are not be to blamed, but Mary herself had made a huge mistake, which gave the Jews an opportunity to slander her, and that is when Mary saw the angel in her vision/dream, and when the angel announced the good news of the pregnancy, Maryam deliberately kept this vision a secret, and she never told anyone, because her mother and father had dedicated her to the temple (Baitul Maqdas), she would always stay and work at the temple, and she would not ever marry and will remain a virgin. And she had herself decided that she would not get a husband and would remain in Baitul Maqdas. After having this dream, she had this fear, that if she disclosed this secret, that an angel has given her the good news of a boy, people will think it is a ploy to get married. That’s why, she kept this vision/dream a secret. But that dream was true, she got pregnant at the same time. And Maryam was unaware of this pregnancy for some time. After the 5th month of the pregnancy had passed, then it became famous that Maryam was pregnant, and then Maryam told people about her dream, but at that time it was useless to say so. At the end, her elders (Jewish elders), in an attempt to hide her shame/guilt, they got her married to Joseph the Carpenter. This is how this prophecy was stained””.

Noorudin contradicts MGA as he writes his biography and writes that it is not mandatory to believe that Esa (as) didn’t have a father.

Zafrullah Khan tells us in his biographical book on Noorudin as follows:

“”The birth of Jesus (as) without a father had been a somewhat controversial question. Maulawi Nur-ud- Din ra had held the view that Jesus had a father. The Promised Messiah (as), in his book Mawahibur Rahman, announced that it was part of his doctrine that Jesus (as)
had been born without a father. On reading this Maulawi Sahib (ra) discarded his view and fell into line with the view propounded by the Promised Messiah (as).  He frankly confessed this change of view in his book Nur-ud-Din.”””

(Chashma Masihi 28, RK 356)(See also the online english edition of this book, see, page 29).

When thousands of insects are born by themselves during the rainy season, and Adam (as) was also born without parents, it is no proof of Jesus’ eminence if he, too, was born in the same manner. In fact, being born without a father deprives a person of certain faculties.

“On a perusal of the Holy Qur`ān, this is what emerges as the truth, namely, that Jesus was fatherless; and this is a matter on which no question can come to lie. Where Allāh calls this birth as resembling the birth of Adam, it is an indication that in this birth there is an element of an extraordinary process of nature, to which a reference had to be made, for an explanation, by likening it to the example of Adam.”

“”””The [Arya Samajist] lecturer also objected to Mary bearing a child by the Holy Spirit and to Jesus being born from Mary alone. The reply is that this was done by the same God who, according to the Arya Samaj teachings, creates millions of people in the beginning of every new creation, just as vegetables grow out of the earth. If, according to the Vedic teachings, God has created the world millions of times, nay times without number, in this manner, and there was no need that men and women should unite together in order that a child should be born, where is the harm if Jesus Christ was born similarly?”””” (Chashma Ma‘rifat, p. 217).

Ruhani Khazain, volume 23, page 225 and 226, Chasma-e-Maarfat:

“””Then the reader of the article raised an objection that why did Mary become pregnant by the Holy Spirit and why was Jesus born only to Mary. The answer to this is that the same God created him who, according to the Arya society, at the beginning of the earth created millions of people like radish and carrots every day, while according to the statement of the Vedas, millions of times and countless times God has created the world in the same way and did not require that a man and a woman meet to produce a child. So, if Jesus was born in the same way, then what is wrong with it? The root of this objection is only that why a man was born without the union of man and woman, but the person who holds this belief that it has been agreed millions of times before that this is the same in this world. Human beings are born without the union of  male and female. How can he say this and how can he have the right to object against the birth of Jesus is against the Law of Nature. Great medical researchers who have gone before us have written about examples of birth and given precedents and their research shows that there are women who possess masculinity (sperm) and femininity (egg) in them and by some system when their semen is excited, pregnancy can occur, and such stories are also found in Hindu books. As in the Veda itself, it is said that O’Indra is the son of Karshi, whom I have written about earlier, so while this kind of story is also present in the Vedas and explained by Sayana Bhashikar then why question it? If this story has been written, then it is far from modest to object. Then he will say that the given answer that we presented does not mean that, and that the answer is not correct however it has been explained by the old commentator i.e., Sayana who has already made this meaning, so why do you want to turn away from it? Against Sayana Bhashikar, can we present Dayanand as the truth? In contrast to Sayana Bhashikar, one would call Dayanand a schoolboy, and then that Bhashikar belongs to the ancient past. And that by virtue of order the meaning of the Vedas that has been given by Sayana Bhashikar is above all whether you accept these meanings now or not, in any case……”””

However, I will go on to show that he is wrong in saying that no one has rejected it from the Holy Quran. I will prove that people have shed light on this from the Quran itself and have proved that Jesus was not born without a father, but was born like the rest of the world. What I mean to say is that there have been differences on this issue, and that some people have believed Jesus to have had a father.”

It seems that the District Magistrate (of Lahore) asked for money from Maulvi Sanaullah’s as a result of an article in the “Ahl-e-Hadis” magazine of Oct-31, 1913. This seems to be a response to the Qadiani article on the birth of Eisa (As). The grossly obscene Qadiani article appeared in the Al-Badr of Oct-30-1913. Maulvi Sanaullah and his team from his “Ahl-e-Hadis” magazine was forced to pay money as a form of a security. The Al-Badr was also forced to pay 3000 rupees as penalty. Reverend Mr. Howell seems to have also been part of this and he was warned by District Magistrate (of Lahore) and the Bishop of Lahore. Mufti Muhammad Sadiq was mentioned too and let off with a warning.

In this essay, it is plainly stated that since animals can reproduce without male sperm, this explains the virgin birth of Eisa (as) (astagfarullah).
