As we all know, MGA insulted Jesus Christ of the bible and Esa (as) of the Quran. He insulted Esa (as) in many other books also and in many ways. In Malfuzat, MGA accused Esa (as) of getting oil massages by adulterous women. There was no limit to what MGA said and did. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad even disputed the status of Esa (as)’s mother as “Siqqidah” in english as “truthful”.
-In 1891, when MGA claimed to be the Promised Messiah, he claimed to be partially greater/better than Esa (as)(astagfarullah) (See Izala Auham in the below). He claimed that his partial superiority was only because he wasn’t a prophet, and thus, he could only have partial superiority over prophets. However, after MGA claimed prophethood in 1901, he began to claim total superiority over Esa (as)(astagfarullah).
-In 1901, when MGA finally claimed prophethood, he was also claiming to be greater than Esa (as) in every single way (astagfarullah)(Nauzobillah).
-1902, In the Urdu Review of Religions, vol. 1, no. 12, p. 478, he specifically claimed to be greater than Esa (as) and thus contradicted all of his previous writings on this topic.
-By 1907, MGA was again claiming total superiority to Esa (as) and he connected it with his prophethood (See Haqiqatul Wahy, online english edition, pages 181-191). In these 10 pages, MGA clearly claims that he had misunderstood his older revelations in terms of partial superiority over Esa (as), he called this the same mistake as when his God called him Esa (as) in the early parts of BA and he misunderstood it.
Izalah Auham, p.647, of RK-3, page 450
“this Messiah has a partial superiority [fazilat] over the Israelite Messiah because the call of the former is universal whereas that of the latter is endemic”
Majmua-e-Ishtiharat, Vol. 2, p. 193
28 January 1897: The Promised Messiah (as) published an announcement in which he claimed that the prophecies fulfilled through him were greater in proportion, number, quantity and power than those of #Jesus (as). Huzoor (as) made an open challenge that if any priest could……prove otherwise, he would offer them 1,000 rupees. 5,600 copies of this announcement were printed and published in Zia-ul-Islam Press, Qadian.
Siraj e Munir, p.4:
“It is even conceded by you that an ordinary martyr may have partial [juz’i] superiority over a great prophet. Verily, I do not see myself less favoured with divine grace than the Messiah”
1899, published in 1902
Tiryaq ul-Qulub, p.157:
“Let not the reader take it that in this discourse I have placed myself superior to the Messiah. It is in fact a partial superiority [juz’i fadilat] which a non-prophet may have over a prophet”
-1902, in the Urdu Review of Religions, vol. 1, no. 6, p. 257, he specifically claimed to be greater than Esa (as).
“””God has raised the Promised Messiah from this Ummah, who far exceeds the first Messiah in his glory.””””
Urdu Review of Religions, vol. 1, no. 12, p. 475-478.
“”I swear by Him in whose hands my life is that, had Masih Ibn-e-Maryam [Messiah, the son of Mary] lived in my time, he could never have performed what I can, and could not have shown the Signs which are being manifested through me.”””
“Haqiqatul Wahy”, online english edition, page 600
“””Speak not of Ibn-e-Maryam [the son of Mary],
For better than him is the slave of the [Holy Prophet] Ahmad [sa].””
However, by 1907, MGA was claming total superiority to Esa (as) and he connected it with his prophethood (See Haqiqatul Wahy, online english edition, pages 181-191). In these 10 pages, MGA clearly claims that he had misunderstood his older revelations in terms of partial superiority over Esa (as), he called this the same mistake as when his God called him Esa (as) in the early parts of BA and he misunderstood it.
