Intro
Ahmadi’s don’t follow the writings of MGA in many cases. The case of Adam (as) is yet another. In 1895, MGA wrote in Arya Dharam that Eve was created from the rib of Adam (as)(see Sahih Bukhari in the below). 2 years later in 1898, in Kitab ul Barriya, MGA was claiming that he was born with a twin sister, however, this seems to be a lie. It seems that MGA was creating a back story. About 10 years later, MGA was asserting that Adam (as) was created as a twin (see the full quote in the below). Later on, in Malfuzat, MGA and his team of writers seems to have given additional data on Adam (as) not being the first man. Watch my video on this here. This belief is totally unislamic. In the Quran, 2:35-36, proves that Adam (as) was living in Jannah (heaven) with Allah. Allah then created Eve. Allah then sent them both to Earth, through the 7 heavens.
The Ahmadiyya belief that Adam (as) wasn’t the first human comes from 1947 and the publishing of Tafsir-e-Kabeer. The introduction to that commentary had a long entry wherein the Khalifa (Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad) wrote that before Adam (as) there were humans already on the planet (in 1985, this intro was turned into a separate book, “Introduction to The Study of the Holy Quran and published from the UK, you can view the 2016 online english edition herein). He continued and claimed that the humans who were already on the planet were Jinn, since they hadn’t evolved fully. This is blasphemy and totally against Islam. Obviously, the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s were indirectly agreeing with the theory of evolution (Darwinism). They took all of this from Sir Syed Ahmad Khan who most likely denied the traditional creation story in Islam.”
The islamic perspective is as follows, Adam (as) and Eve were the two first humans on Earth. Allah them brought animals, fruit, sugar, chocolate, all in pairs. This is what the verses of the Quran mean when taken together. There are about 9 verses in the Quran which refer to Allah creating in pairs. However, this doesn’t contradict the idea that Adam (as) was not born a twin. Tafsir ibn Kathir tells us that Allah created Eva (as) from the rib (bone and blood) of Adam (as). Allah created everything from dust, its all the same ingredients, just look at the table of elements, they prove that Allah can make a human from another human easily. Tafsir Ibn Kathir is an amazing classical book on Tafsir. Ibn Kathir tells us that Allah created a single soul, i.e. Adam (as) and then created Hawa aka Eva from the rib of Adam (as).
Verses which prove that humans were made in pairs after Adam (as) was sent to Earth are as follows: 78:8—–“””And We created you in pairs”” and 53:45, 51:49, 55:52, 43:12, 42:11, 36:36, 35:11 and 39:6.

Moreover, like Adam, he would be born on Friday and would be a twin birth. Just as Adam was born in the manner of a twin—Adam first, and then Eve—similarly, the Promised Messiah would be born twin. So, Allah be praised and thanked that I am the fulfilment of this prophecy of the mystics. I, too, was born a twin at dawn on a Friday with the sole difference that the first to be born was a girl whose name was Jannat—and she went to Jannat [Paradise] after a few days and after her I was born. Sheikh Muhy-ud-Din ibn-e-‘Arabi has recorded this prophecy in his book Fusus, and has also written that he [the Promised Messiah] would be of Chinese descent. In any case, these three prophesies reinforce one another. Because they have been fulfilled, they have acquired the status of certainty that no sensible person can deny.””

Per Ahmadiyya sources, Tafsir-e-Kabeer was published in 1947 and there was an introduction which was inserted at the beginning. That introduction is now its own book called, “Introduction to the study of the Holy Quran”. This books seems to be the first instance of the Ahmadiyya movement (Lahori or Qadiani) arguing that there were humans on Earth before Adam (as) of the Quran arrived.

An English scholar of Astronomy, Professor Wragge met the Promised Messiah on 12th May and 18th May 1908 in Lahore and asked him a few questions as reported in Malfooza’at Vol. 10, Pages 353 and 426. Among other questions he asked: “It is written in the Bible that Adam or say the first man was born in Jeehoon, Seehon and belonged to that country. Are, then, all the mankind, that is found in different parts of the world like America and Australia, the descendants of the same Adam?” To this question the Promised Messiah replied, “We do not follow the Bible in holding that the world began with the birth of Adam six or seven thousand years ago, and that before this there was nothing, and God was, as it were idle and without work. Neither do we claim that all mankind who are now found in different parts of the earth, are the progeny of the self-same Adam. On the Contrary we hold that this Adam was not the first man. Mankind existed even before him, as is hinted by the Quran itself, when it says to Adam, “I am about to place a Khalifa in the earth.” As Khalifa means successor, it is clear that man existed even before Adam. Hence we cannot say whether the original inhabitants of America, Australia etc. are the progeny of this last Adam or some other Adam gone before him.

“Adam was born at the time of Asr on the 6th day. At that time the cycle of Jupiter was ending and the cycle of Saturn was about to begin. The affects of Saturn are that of cruelty and bloodshed. 1988
Mirza Tahir Ahmad ordered the Ahmadi murrabi team to create a 5-volume english commentary of the Quran. They completed this roughly from 1984 to 1988. It is attributed to Malik Ghulam Farid who quoted the 2nd Khalifa his commentaries, Tafsir-i-Kabir and Tafsir-i-Saghir.

In this video…(Retrieved on 10-18-16)these Ahmadis argued that women were created before men and thus supported MGA’s writings on the topic. They also explained away the Arya Dharam quote as a metaphor. So, they called MGA’s writings on this topic as a metaphor, without addressing the later writings….this is a classic Ahmadi tactic of deflection.

The Prophet said, “Allah created Adam in his complete shape and form (directly), sixty cubits (about 30 meters) in height. When He created him, He said (to him), “Go and greet that group of angels sitting there, and listen what they will say in reply to you, for that will be your greeting and the greeting of your offspring.” Adam (went and) said, ‘As-Salamu alaikum (Peace be upon you).’ They replied, ‘AsSalamu-‘Alaika wa Rahmatullah (Peace and Allah’s Mercy be on you) So they increased ‘Wa Rahmatullah’ The Prophet added ‘So whoever will enter Paradise, will be of the shape and form of Adam. Since then the creation of Adam‘s (offspring) (i.e. stature of human beings is being diminished continuously) to the present time.”

“But Satan whispered to them to make apparent to them that which was concealed from them of their private parts. He said, “Your Lord did not forbid you this tree except that you become angels or become of the immortal.” And he swore [by Allah] to them, “Indeed, I am to you from among the sincere advisors.”

“So he made them fall, through deception. And when they tasted of the tree, their private parts became apparent to them, and they began to fasten together over themselves from the leaves of Paradise. And their Lord called to them, “Did I not forbid you from that tree and tell you that Satan is to you a clear enemy?”

Allah’s Apostle said, “Allah will gather all the people on the Day of Resurrection and they will say, ‘Let us request someone to intercede for us with our Lord so that He may relieve us from this place of ours.’ Then they will go to Adam and say, ‘You are the one whom Allah created with His Own Hands, and breathed in you of His soul, and ordered the angels to prostrate to you; so please intercede for us with our Lord.’ Adam will reply, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking, and will remember his sin, and will say, ‘Go to Noah, the first Apostle sent by Allah’s They will go to him and he will say, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking’, and will remember his sin and say, ‘Go to Abraham whom Allah took as a Khalil. They will go to him (and request similarly). He will reply, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking,’ and will remember his sin and say, ‘Go to Moses to whom Allah spoke directly.’ They will go to Moses and he will say, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking,’ and will remember his sin and say, ‘Go to Jesus.’ They will go to him, and he will say, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking, go to Muhammad as Allah has forgiven his past and future sins.’ They will come to me and I will ask my Lord’s permission, and when I see Him, I will fall down in prostration to Him, and He will leave me in that state as long as (He) Allah will, and then I will be addressed. ‘Raise up your head (O Muhammad)! Ask, and your request will be granted, and say, and your saying will be listened to; intercede, and your intercession will be accepted.’ Then I will raise my head, and I will glorify and praise my Lord with a saying(i.e. invocation) He will teach me, and then I will intercede, Allah will fix a limit for me (i.e., certain type of people for whom I may intercede), and I will take them out of the (Hell) Fire and let them enter Paradise. Then I will come back (to Allah) and fall in prostration, and will do the same for the third and fourth times till no-one remains in the (Hell) Fire except those whom the Qur’an has imprisoned therein.” (The sub-narrator, Qatada used to say at that point, “…those upon whom eternity (in Hell) has been imposed.”) (See Hadith No. 3, Vol 6).

because it takes us to a page of CH13 Al-Ra’D verses 38-42 . which verse is it exactly?
