Intro
Abdur Rahman was born on 9-2-1901 in Kapurthala, India (See page 13). His father moved him to Qadian soon after he was born and he was there when MGA died and his body was brought to Qadian. He alleges that he served in the British military towards the end of WW-1. After that, he was sent to America to help Mufti Muhammad Sadiq and the Ahmadiyya mission.
In the Al-Fazl of July-August-1923, it is reported how a man named Syed Abdul Rahman Sahib is there in Chicago (at the Ahmadiyya headquarters) and working with both Mufti Muhammad Sadiq and Maulvi Muhammad Din. In 1924, when the Ahmadiyya mission failed and Maulvi Muhammad Din went back to Qadian, Abdur Rahman got a job at the Ford plant and worked there for a few years until the factory closed. Thereafter, he worked in collaboration with Dr. Muhammad Yusuf Khan (the only official Ahmadiyya missionary in the country from 1925-1928) in NY and in Cleveland. He disappeared after 1934.
His life story appeared in the Moslem Sunrise of 1976.
