Intro
20:102 (See Tafsir ibn Kathir) of the Quran simply tells us that when the Day of Judgement approaches, the disbelievers and criminals will have terrible eyesight, and many other ailments as they began their endless suffering and severity of their horrifying situation, in other words, it’s a metaphor and literal, since blue is the color of bruising (Suyuti affirms this too).
It seems that the Nation of Islam and Elijah Poole read the mistranslated Quran by Muhammad Ali and developed their “blue eyed devil” theory (See 20:102) in the early 1930’s (or late 1920’s). In the commentary section, Muhammad Ali writes that this was about Europeans, specifically the Greek people, curiously, Muhammad Ali writes that it could also mean blind. Interestingly, the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s have given the same incorrect commentary in their famous 5 volume official commentary (2018 edition) by Malik Ghulam Farid. We haven’t checked the 2nd Qadiani-Khalifa’s Tafsir yet. Mirza Tahir Ahmad commented on this blue-eyed situation too, he alleged that this verse (20:102) is about WW-3 and how European people will be made to be subservient.
