Intro
My team has intercepted a few messages on social media which seem to indicate that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Canada Inc. is short on Chanda Jalsa Salana for 2024 and is in dire need of last-minute payments. Interestingly, if you take a look at the 2018 and 2019 Balance sheet of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Canada Inc., you can clearly see that they spent 1.3 million in 2018 and 2019 on Jalsa Salana Canada (see page 3). However, in 2022, it’s not even on the expense sheet. Where did it go? Nevertheless, expenditures are at all-time high in the Canadian Jamaat, 2023 had a shortfall of -10 million. In 2023, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Canada Inc. collected 28.8 million in revenue, but spent 38.4 million.
