Intro
In 1927, his 17-year-old son, James Poole allegedly converted to Ahmadiyya (see the ROR of Feb-1927, pages 4-5).

In the 1930 census, his name was written as William Poole (See the scan in the below and this video). His wife was Marie Poole, and lots of his children. Recently, someone made a video about the family of Elijah Muhammad and showed photo’s of his mother and father. It seems that his wife (Marie Poole) was still alive in 1940 (living in Detroit with Elijah Poole) as well as William Poole (see the scans in the below) and his mother Peggy Poole (the grandmother of Elijah Poole, ages 100) and living in Chicago.

In 1934 (See Detroit Free Press, 1934, Apr–19, Page 1), Willie Mohammed, 68, of 4182 Dubois St. was arrested as part of the disturbance created by cult. His sons are also mentioned, Elijah Muhammad, John Muhammad, Kollat (also spelled Kallat) and Willie Poole Jr. Marie Poole is the mother of all of these brothers.

In the mid-1930’s, he changed his name to Wali Poole.

In 1944, he died.

In 1951 (Via Hatim), Elijah Muhammad’s father was mentioned by Elijah Muhammad himself as someone who also met W.D. Fard.

Via this video by Khalil Ismail, Shabaz was a common name for Muslims in Highland, Detroit in 1900-1930.

In 1918, Yonan H. Shahbaz (Author) published “The Rage of Islam: An Account of the Massacre of Christians by the Turks in Persia”. He was quite famous in the USA, in fact, his name appears in many newspapers. (See the Altoona Mirror of Tue, Dec 30, 1930 ·Page 1 and many others). Evanzz and Fanusie seem to have missed all of this, most likely because they didn’t have access to the newspapers.

In 1938, via Beynon, it was told how the black men in America were stolen from lost tribe of Shebazz by traders from the Holy City of Mecca, 379 years ago. The prophet came to America to find and to bring back to life his long lost brethren, from whom the Caucasians had taken away their language, their nation and their religion. Here in America they were living other than themselves. They must learn that they are the original-people, noblest of the nations of the earth. The Caucasians are the colored people since they have lost their original color. The original people must regain their religion which is Islam, their language, which is Arabic and their culture which is astronomy and higher mathematics, especially calculus. They must live according to the law of Allah, avoiding all meat of “poison animals, “hogs, ducks, geese,’ possums and catfish. They must give up completely the use of stimulants especially liquor.
They must clean themselves up-both their bodies and their houses. If in this way they obeyed Allah, he would take them back to the Paradise from which they had been stolen-the Holy City of Mecca. Compiled from the three texts issued by the prophet: Teaching for the Lost Found Nation of Islam in a Mathematical Way, consisting of 34 problems. On May-8-1942, Gulan Bogan (aka Elijah Mohammed) was arrested for Draft evasion in the Washington D.C. area. (See the Evening Star Newspaper of Sat, May 09, 1942 ·Page 1)(See also, “The Washington Star” of May-8-1942, via Evanzz).

Roughly 2 months later, on Jul-24-1942, his wife Mrs. Clara Mohammed showed up to the jail with $5000 for bail and Gulan Bogan (aka Elijah Mohammed) was a free man (See The Washington Daily News of Fri, Jul 24, 1942 ·Page 9)(Times Herald of Fri, Jul 24, 1942 ·Page 25).

On Sep-5, via “The Daily Tribune of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin”, (of Sat, Sep 5, 1942, Page 7), the Chicago police and FBI were looking for Gulam Bogan aka Mohammed Rassoul (See full ref in the below). Elijah Poole (who was previously called named as Elijah Mohammed aka Gulam Bogan) was arrested again on Sep-21-1942 for Draft evasion (See the Chicago Tribune of Tue, Sep 22, 1942 ·Page 9)(Fanusie spelled it as Ghulam Bogans and via FBI reports, see her dissertation, pages 23-24). Elijah Mohammed was also called “Elijah-Muck-Muhd” and as “The Prophet”.

Elijah Mohammed was found on 9-21-1942 at 6026 Vernon Ave, Chicago (this is roughly 3 miles from the Ahmadiyya USA headquarter at 4448 S. Wabash Ave) and under his mother’s bed and wrapped up in a carpet. The “temple” was located at 104 East 51st St. His assistant named Lenzie Karie was also arrested and was working as a “minister”, he lives at 6117 Rhodes Avenue. Bond was announced at 10,000 dollars. Leaders of 2 other “black” groups were also arrested. At the time (1942), Elijah Mohammed’s organization was called “The Temple of Islam”.

In the below, we have posted roughly 259 newspaper reports that mention the keywords of Gulam Bogans, Elijah Muhammad and Allah. It should be noted that the last name “Bogans” can be found over 100+ times in the newspapers from 1910 to 1942. Thus, it is quite obvious it was a fake name used by Elijah Mohammed.

In the newest edition of the official 5-volume English Commentary of the Quran, under the verses 46:31-32 (46:32-33 in the Qadiani Quran), the Qadiani’s believe that this verse is about a Reformer (MGA)(Tafseer-e-Sagheer is unknown on this). MGA’s comment’s on these verses are unknown also. Interestingly, Maulvi Muhammad Ali was silent on these verses in his famous 1917 English commentary of the Quran and his subsequent 1920 edition. Thus, this entire line of argumentation seems to have come as oral tradition from the Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi’s like Sufi Muti-ur-Rahman Bengali (was in the USA, 1928 to 1948), Maulvi Muhammad Yusuf Khan (was in the USA, 1921 to 1975?) and even as early as Muftree Muhammad Sadiq (was in the USA, 1920-1923).

In 1934, Elijah Muhammad used it as his main thesis on why Wallace Farad was a prophet and should be followed.

In Aug-1934, shortly after W.D. Fard had disappeared, Elijah Muhammad published the 3rd issue of the Final Call to Islam newspaper. Interestingly, Elijah Muhammad quoted the Quran, Chapter 46, verses 31-32 (46:32-33 in the Qadian Quran), and inferred that W.D. Fard should be accepted. W.D. Fard was written as Prophet Fard Mohammed.

This issue of the Final Call to Islam is also quoted in Evanzz (2001).

A few days ago, Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi, Mansoor Ahmad Clarke defiantly posted photo’s at Mecca while trespassing (see his twitter account herein, @mansoor_clarke)(he posted a video wherein he complained about pushing too). In 2023, an Ahmadi named Rabeel Ahmad did the same.

For the record, in 1974, Ahmadi’s were banned from entry into Saudi Arabia (see also “Islam vs. Ahmadiyya in Nigeria” (1975) by Dr. Is’mail A.B. Balogan, B.A., PH.D. (London) University of Ibadan). In this, Dr. Is’mail A.B. Balogan talks about Ahmadi’s getting banned from Hajj by King Faisal and the World Muslim Conference, which was held in Mecca in April of 1974.
