Intro
In July-2025, Dr. John Morrow argued in his book (“W. D. Fard: The Man, Mystery, and Myth Behind the Nation of Islam“) that a white man named Tom White (William Thomas White)
was a co-conspirator with Wallace Farad (aka Master Fard). Dr. John Morrow presented newspaper references from Aug-1-1932 (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette) which prove that a man named Tom White had converted to Ahmadiyya and was issued the new name of Wali Mohammed by most likely Ahmadiyya Maulvi Muhammad Yusuf Khan. However, he was never highlighted in any Ahmadiyya publication like the “Review of Religions” or “Moslem Sunrise” as a white convert. In the same newspaper, another conversion is given, John Smith turned into Abu Saleh (See Jameel Hakim), who later became a rouge African-American sheikh, like Wali Akram or Sheikh Ahmad Din.
2-3 months later, Wallace Farad was famously arrested in Nov-1932. Wali Mohammed was nowhere in sight.
The Cincinnati Post of Thu, Feb 09, 1933 ·Page 2, the Ahmadiyya mission in Cincinatti is explained. They are operating out of a drab tenement house, a bare double room, at 928 W. 7th St. “Nearly” all the converts to Qadianism are negroes, which insinuates that some are not black and could be white. Some of the names of the new Ahmadi’s are interesting. The newspaper alleges that the muezzin used to be named Fox, but now his name is Noor-dad. Another convert is John Smith, who’s new name is Abu Saleh. Tom White has become Wali Mohammed. Jarrel is Ahmad and Jones is Ali. Dr. M. Yusuf Khan is their leader, he alleges to have graduated from the University of Chicago. His brother is also there and helping him and a Qadiani named Hajee Bashir Ahmad Malik (he was also mentioned in the Moslem Sunrise of 1930, see page 13). Some of the Ahmadiyya beliefs are also given, like Jesus (as) died in India and the huge difference in prophethood, how Muslims believe Muhammad (saw) to be the Final prophet appointed and Ahmadi’s don’t. Allegedly, Ahmadi’s don’t believe in polygamy. Most of the negro converts wear the Fez cap. Only 6 converts can read Arabic and most can’t even read English.
In Jan-1934, via the Cleveland Call and Post (of Sat, Jan 20, 1934 ·Page 4) report that the people of the Cleveland “Head Mosque” were surprised by a lecture from Wali Mohammed aka the medicine man, Maulvi Muhammad Yusuf Khan also spoke. A photo of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was given in the newspaper, Tuesday night, 7pm. The same newspaper mentions the news of the “Mother Mosque” as well, and how a man named Shaikh Wali Dod gave a speech and was referred to as God. This appeared on the “Religion” page of the newspaper and was a daily or bi-daily publication and MGA’s face appeared many times. News from the Dayton Mosque via Sheikh Nazeer Elahi is also given, this is the Ahmadiyya mission, Dr. M.Y. Khan is listed as the missionary. However, simultaneously, Dr. M.Y. Khan is teaching the other 2 groups of Muslims, one by Brother Abdullah Farook. The other by Omar Mohammed who had recently returned, they both seem to be connected to Dr. M.Y. Khan and Brother Abdullah Farook. Sheikh Nazeer Elahi gave a speech on “The Life of Mohammed”. The Mosque has recently moved to 216 Euclid Ave. Interestingly, the Cleveland Mosque, which is ran by Sheikh Nasir Ahmed is mentioned and money was being collected for the travel expenses ($2) of the Ahmadiyya missionary, Dr. M.Y. Khan, who will allegedly represent them to the East. The Colombus Mosque by Rasheed Hosas is also mentioned, the rope of Allah is discussed.
In Apr-1934 (See Detroit Free Press, 1934, Apr–19, Page 1), Wali Mohammed, aged 33 (is this Willie Poole Jr.?), from 504 Woodside Ave, Ferndale was “arraigned” as part of the disturbance created by cult. He was not mentioned as “white”. However, it should be noted that on Apr-17, when the cult was raided, only 13 teachers were arrested. However, on Apr-19, an additional 6 people were arraigned (Wali Mohammed, David Sharrief, Ocier Zarrief, Willie Mohammed, Kallat Mohammed and Elijah Mohammed).
On Apr-26-1934, Judge Gordon released 18 of 19 teachers, only Elijah Mohammed was held and given probation (See the Detroit Free Press of Thu, Apr 26, 1934 ·Page 1 and 2) with the condition that all the children at his school would be safely returned to public schools. Wali Mohammed was part of this group of 19 teacher’s, however, he wasn’t arrested on Apr-17, when the raid happened.
In Aug-1934, Wali Mohammed wrote an essay about the “The Educational Department of Islam” by Prophet Fard. It is not mentioned that Wali Mohammed is white and blue eyed.
In 1941-1942, via FBI reports (See 72/126), Wali Mohammed is in-charge of the Detroit Temple and went to Washington D.C. to check up on the arrest of Elijah Mohammed.
On Tuesday, May-19-1942 (Page 9)(See scan in the below), The Evening Star (of Washington D.C.) newspaper reported that Sultan Muhammad is named as a worker of Elijah Mohammed in Milwaukee. Willie Mohammed was also arrested, this seems to be a typo, Willie Mohammed is listed as 50 years hold, it could also be Wali Mohammed.
In the 1990’s, John Muhammad called Wali Mohammed a devil and called him light skinned (35:40) and one of his teachers. At 52:58, John Muhammad talks about Wali Mohammed standing in the back of some classroom, and John Muhammad asked him about his schooling. What was his highest level of schooling? Wali Muhammad put his hand on his chin and smiled and he “went in the front door and walked out the back door”. Wali Mohammed alleged that people called him a walking encyclopedia. John Muhammad then reveals that he went to Chicago (55:00) for the time ever in his life accompanied by Wali Mohammed in 1930 or 1931. Brother Wali Mohammed had reserved a hotel room with 4 beds for John Muhammad and his brothers, essentially, sleeping arrangements for 8. John Muhammad alleges that he slept with his brother Jom. At 55:48, John Muhammad called Wali Mohammed “as dumb as they get”. At 1:24:00, John Muhammad says that he saw Arab’s in downtown Detroit in the 1920’s.
In 2023, Medina Muhammad (daughter of John Muhammad and Burnsteen) alleged that Wali Mohammed (from Georgia) was a white man, a blue-eyed devil (57:08 time stamp).

Dr. M. Yusuf Kahn is mentioned extensively in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette of Mon, Aug 01, 1932 ·Page 13. This is at 222 Webster St in Pittsburgh, PA, this building used to be a grocery store. It is mentioned how Ahmadi’s have deviant beliefs, they don’t believe in polygamy, slavery and take Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as their prophet. Many of the negroes wear the Fez cap. Most of the negroes can barely read English. Dr. Kahn alleges that he graduated from the University of Chicago in 1921 with a degree in chemical engineering. Dr. Kahn alleges that he was born in Jhelum. The newspaper alleges that Dr. Kahn can be found on the 2nd floor of his small temple (mosque) in his study, discussing Indian politics to chemistry, and there also seems to be a young Indian man from Calcutta who is also sitting with Dr. Kahn, he seems to be a summer engineering student at Tech. This local Ahmadiyya temple (mosque) was established 2 years ago (1930). Dr. Kahn had just returned from India in the summer of 1932, which means he was in India for most like Jan-July-1932. Dr. Kahn alleges to have Ahmadiyya mission-temples (mosques) in Youngstown, Cincinatti, Indianapolis, Detroit and Chicago.

13 Policemen Hurt Battling j Voodoo Band Cult Backers March on Headquarters to Protest Arrests Motor and Mounted Forces Join in Fight Thirteen policemen were injured and several rioters were hurt when a horde of Negroes, aroused to frenzy bv the teachings of a voodoo cult calling itself Mohammedan, marched on Police Headquarters Wednesday to protest the arrest of, their leaders. i Onlv a handful of policemen at first tried to break up the demonstration. They were quickly overwhelmed, and before the baltl ended all available offlceis wete engaged, squad cats were drawnlnto’ the fight and the mounted forte was railed upon. Police reported that 41 Negroes were arrested during the disturbance. Sixteen men were held on charges of Inciting a riot.
Mne men and 12 women were held for investigation. Four boys, from 14 to 17 years old, were held at the Juvenlie Detention Home. Accused of Causing Truancy They were charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor by causing Sally Allah, 15 1 years old, to play truant from the public schools to attend the cult s “university.” Lined up before the bench, handcuffed to each other and closely watched by a dozen detectives, they pleaded not guilty and were held in $500 bonds each for examination next Wednesday.
After theiot the police took precautions to guard against further outbreaks. Numerous patrolmen were stationed throughout the neighborhood and detectives were .placed at all strategic points in the Recorder’s Court. All police on the day shift were ordered to extra duty Wednesday night, reporting at Headquarters. Cry, ‘Get The Coppers!’ When the rioters first appeared, Inspector William G. Rick and a few patrolmen met them in Clinton St. and tried to turn them back.
A cry from the crowd of “Get the coppers!” stsrted the action. Inspector Rick and his men were quickly driven back and the fight swirled up to the main entrance of Headquarters. On Aug-4-2025, the Alam Khan youtube channel released a video wherein an article (Dated as Aug-11-1934) from the very first edition of “The Final Call” was shown. This article was written by Wali Mohammed and entitled, “The Educational Department of Islam”. It is also mentioned how most of the members of this cult were not literate and couldn’t even understand the concept of 4+4. It should be noted that a few months earlier, in April of 1934, Wali Mohammed was arrested as part of the disturbance created by his cult.

THE EDUCATIONAL DEPARTMENT OF ISLAM by WALI MOHAMMED, MANAGER OF TEMPLE OF ISLAM IN NORTH AMERICA There is an Educational Department set up by Prophet FARD, which is superior to all Literary training ever known in America. It has in its scope, the qualities that create a higher Mental State for those that pursue such education. We have among us old brothers and sisters that actually did not know how to add 4 plus 4, so deprived were they of their training and so illiterate were they made by the devil that it would seem impossible to make such headway in teaching them. But Prophet FARD, the Holy one of ARABIA, prophesied to come in these last days, has really come and set up such a university and has chosen such teachers that both the old and young have been able to absorb knowledge far advanced of the present civilization. These people have been trained by Prophet FARD to compute the distance between one planet and another. They can tell how many planets are inhabited and the names of them; the distance from the Sun and their periodic time in days, hours or seconds. The same ones also can estimate every square inch of their home, which is the whole Planet Earth. Ask one of these pupils the definition of the Atom, and he will tell you of its reality and how Prophet FARD cracked one, even though it was so small that ten thousand of them placed upon the point of a needle cannot be seen through a powerful microscope. Yet he was able to split one Atom, into 10 million parts. Such knowledge surpasses the understanding of the average human being of this era. Not only have the principles of Higher Mathematics been taught, but many other sciences too numerous to mention. There are twelve courses included in Prophet FARD’S university, which at this juncture I shall not go into detail to name, but one would not wonder why the pupils of this university are so alert and active after gaining only an insight to these subjects. The pupils are active and energetic in spite of the advanced years of many of them. They are quick and spry as in youth and the mental qualities of many are so acute and precise that they know just how to handle a situation on the spur of the moment without long study. Indeed Prophet FARD has trained them how to recognize a person from far distance even if only seen once. This is not the achievement of all, but it has been acquired by some already. The children also are far more advanced than the adults, and have made much greater headway than the adults, their minds being naturally younger and more flexible. We shall cut short this treatise at this time, and in another article soon we shall go further into details concerning the Life and Teaching of PROPHET FARD! By WALI MOHAMMED.
