Intro
Recently, in the summer of 2025, Bashir Ain was asked by Adnan Rashid about Abdul Hakim Patialvi and MGA’s prophecy about his death during the life of MGA. At 5:50, Bashir Ain alleges that Abdul hakim Patialvi repented…and thus, the prophecy was cancelled/abrogated. When did he repent? This is a mystery.
After checking Maulvi Razi’s website and Al-Hakam, this is the source of Bashir Ain’s information. Ahmadiyya sources seem to be quoting a writing of Abdul hakim Patialvi which we have never seen before, it is “Elane-Haq wa Itmam-ul-Hujja wa Takmila”, Dr Abdul Haqim Khan, pp. 7-8 [second edition]). The Ahmadiyya spin doctors starting using this quotation in 2020-2021 and began alleging that Abdul hakim Patialvi repented via changing dates of his prophecy.
Interestingly, MGA never quoted this source. In fact, In Jan–May-1908, MGA and his team of writers were working on “Chashmay-e-Marifat” and they never mentioned the annulment or abrogation of his prophecy (See Chashma-e-Ma‘rifat, p. 322, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 23, p. 337, see also the 2009 online edition of Tadhkirah).
