Intro
Leo Stanley and his team published “Men at their Worst” in 1940. More importantly, in terms of Wallace Farad aka Wallie Ford, was there any interaction?
In Sep-2025, I went down to Stanford University and took photo’s from their archives which contained some unreleased writings of Leo Stanley. The results are posted. I was not able to see anything that might have mentioned WD Fard, or a white man aged roughly 25-45 years who looks like a Polynesian/white mixture. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ In the small booklet, “Testicle Transplantation”, by Stanley and Kelker:
1. The interstitial gland is discussed, the work of Serge Voronoff of Paris is quoted.
2. The first implant of testicles was done by Stanley in 1918. 16 total cases are mentioned.
3. On page-4, Case-1 is mentioned how a man aged 25, who was rather dull mentally and weak physically. 2 testes were taken from a Negro and results were good. Stanley alleges that this man worked in a lumber camp and the managers reports that he was working hard.
4. Another man (age 50) got testicles from a Mexican man, aged 27 in Feb-1919. 5 days afterwards, the 50-year-old man got an erection.
5. Case 3 seems to be testicles from a white man (aged 54) and to another white man (aged 26) and in 1919.
6. Case 4 is a man aged 72, a child sex predator, he was given testicles from an Indian kid (aged 19). This is sick and twisted.

Patients with Diabetes
1920’s
There was a patient, aged 67, had diabetes for 9 years. In 1921, he came into to SQ, he was given an implantation of 4.0 grams of fresh goat’s testes. His sugar levels were then tested. A jewish patient is mentioned. From 1925 to 1927 his sugar in urine results are given. Aged 40 and allegedly an attorney.

Live substance Implantations and Hypertension
Case-1 entered prison on May-1926, aged 65, a laborer. This was in 1927.
Case-2 was 75 years old and entered prison before 12-1925 and thus, not part of this study.
Case-3 aged 32, allegedly an accountant. His blood pressure was taken in 1926. He weighed 185 pounds. He left the prison in April of 1927.
Case-4, farmer aged 64,
Case-5, farmer, aged 66, was in Sq in 1919, thus, not part of this study.
Case-6, electrician, aged-30. Entered the prison in 1926 and weighed 220, thus, he is not Fard.
Case-7, in May of 1927, he died of pneumonia.
Case-8, prisoner left SQ in Aug-1927, and thus, not Fard.

On Aug-3-1929, there was a Prison Epidemic of Flexner’s Dysentery. Ford was paroled from San Quentin on May 27, 1929. There were previous epidemics in 1926, 1927 and 1928. Names were not given.
