Intro
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad mentioned Shaikh ‘Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani in 1883-1884 in “Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya V-4 (see page 426) as he purposely masked his claim of prophethood as Wahy-e-i‘lam (see page 428). He quoted him again over the years, most of the English quotes are posted in the below. Furthermore, it should be noted that Imam Abdul Qadir Jilaani mentioned Eesa Ibn Maryam عليه السلام was raised up to the sky physically. Further, Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani believed that raising the dead physically is possible as a miracle, that it was one of ’Isa’s ﷺ miracles. Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani also stated that Allah ﷻ discloses to the Awliya’ (not just Prophets and Messengers) the knowledge of the unseen and every great news (see the scans in the below).

In 1893, via “Tohfa-Baghdad” (see page 51 of the online English edition)(originally an Arabic only book)(page 22 of the Arabic only edition, see the scan work), MGA called Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani as his “Master” and quoted in agreement his “Futuh al-Ghaib” [Revelations of the Unseen] and argued that:

“”Verily, Allah speaks to His Auliya’ in the most eloquent and delightful manner, reveals unto them secrets, and informs them of future events. He bestows upon them the knowledge of Prophets, their light, their insight, and their miracles, but as a heritage and not as the owner. Allah gives his Auliya control of the Earth and heavens and the entire kingdom of God”””.

However, the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s purposely mistranslated it to mean “Allah makes awliya as representatives in the earth and the heavens and in the entire kingdom of God” (see page 51 of the online English edition).

In May of 1908, while in Lahore, MGA alleged that almost 200 ulema of his time issued a fatwa [religious verdict] of apostasy against Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani, may Allah have mercy upon him. Ibn Jawzi, who was a scholar of Hadith of his time, wrote a book and titled it Talbis Iblis, and used much bitter and unseemly words against him. (See Al-Hakam, vol. 12, no. 33, p. 1–7, dated 14 May 1908, via Malfuzat-10, page 373).

After MGA died, in the BA-5, MGA reported to have gotten an altered version of the famous Quranic phraseology “Kun Fa Ya Kun” and alleged that Shaikh ‘Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani had also gotten the same revelation.

In June of 2025, Maulvi Razi discussed Shaikh ‘Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani on the True Islam Uk Urdu stream vs. Bro Imtiaz. —At 2:10:33, Maulvi Razi starts to speak and accuses Bro Imtiaz of not answering the question. Maulvi Razi admitted that MGA called himself “Khatam un Nabiyeen” (naozobillah), via Buruz in “Eik Ghalti Ka Izala” (1901)(see page 12). Maulvi Razi then challenges Bro Imtiaz to put a fatwa on anyone who calls himself the “Khatam un Nabiyeen” (naozobillah), via Buruz. Maulvi Razi argues that MGA didn’t mean in reality (haqiqat), thus, only metaphoric. Maulvi Razi argues that many Islamic scholars have claimed the same in the past. Maulvi Razi then accuses of Shah Wali Ullah of claiming to be “Khatam un Nabiyeen” (naozobillah), via Buruz. Maulvi Razi then accuses Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani of the same crime. Maulvi Razi then quotes “Tafheemat Ilaheyyah” by Shah Wali Ullah, (In a recent livestream (2024), Maulvi Razi argued that Shah Wali Ullah had called himself the Khatam-un-Nabiyeen. However, Adnan Rashid disproved it quickly, this was a from a book called “Anfas-ul-Arifeen”, Razi was reading the Urdu translation, not the original Persian) and alleges that MGA did the same. Maulvi Razi then calls Bro Imtiaz a liar and says that he accused MGA of called “Nuzul-e-Maseeh” (as) a secret (raaz). Maulvi Razi alleges that MGA wrote in almost every single book that it is the ijma of the sahaba that Eisa (as) died, and this was also the belief of Muhammad (Saw)(this is a lie). Maulvi Razi then accused Bro Imtiaz of not knowing Arabic. Maulvi Razi alleged that Hadi Ali Chaudhary quoted Muhammad (Saw) and it was called a mistranslation or a misrepresentation or a lie. However, Maulvi Razi is purposely misunderstanding with Bro Imtiaz said, which was that Hadi Ali Chaudhary misrepresented Muhammad (Saw), this was in terms of the sahaba being alive when Eisa (As) returns. Maulvi Razi then says that in terms of 3:81 of the Quran (3:82 in the Qadiani Quran), Ahmadi’s also believe that this is about Muhammad (Saw). Maulvi Razi then accused Bro Imtiaz of saying that if anyone says that 3:81 of the Quran (3:82 in the Qadiani Quran) is not about Muhammad (Saw) then they are the friend of Satan. Bro Imtiaz immediately waved his finger NO. Maulvi Razi quoted Maulvi Abdul Karim Sialkoti from 1902 and made some unintelligible argument.

On June-27-2025, on a True Islam UK livestream (3:56:10 time stamp), Adnan Rashid explained how Ahmadi’s twist Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani in terms of “wujood”, this is not what MGA was arguing, MGA argued that he had become Muhammad (saw)(naozobillah). Furthermore, Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani never claimed to be the second coming of Muhammad (Saw) and MGA did, which takes MGA out of Islam, it is Kufr of the greatest level (akber).

“”Hence, during the time of the prophethood, divine wisdom required that the revelations of non-prophets should not be recorded in the manner of prophetic revelation, lest the words of the non-prophet be intermingled with those of the Prophet. But the revelations of the auliya’ [friends of Allah] and other men of inner spiritual excellence who came after that age are well known and well publicized, and have been duly recorded in every age. To verify this, one should read Maktūbāt of Shaikh ‘Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani 1 and Mujaddid Alf Thani,2 as well as books by other auliya’ullah [friends of Allah], wherein a vast number of their revelations have been recorded. Even Imam Rabbani [Mujaddid Alf Thani] has explicitly written in the second volume of his Maktūbāt, letter number 51 to be precise, that even a nonprophet can be honoured with the divine word and discourse, and that such a person is called a muhaddath and his rank is nearer to the rank of the Prophets. Likewise, Shaikh ‘Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani has elucidated this matter at various places in Futuhul-Ghaib. A diligent search into the sayings and letters of auliya’ullah will yield many such statements. And the rank of muhaddathiyyat 3 in ummat-e-Muhammadiyyah [the followers of Muhammad] is proven so widely that only the extremely ignorant and utterly unaware can deny it. Up to the present day, thousands of auliya’ullah have appeared within this ummah, endowed with perfect excellences, whose wonders and miracles are as proven and established as those of the Israelite Prophets.”””

For the benefit of the reader, I wish to reproduce the text and translation
of what Qutub-e-Rabbani and Ghauth-e-Subhani* Sayyid Abdul Qadir
Jilanira has written in his book Futuhul Ghaib, regarding the effect of the
prayers and attention of the perfect men of God, based upon his own
personal experiences. The meaning of the following excerpt is that the only
testimony recognized in any field is that of a person who is well
experienced in that particular field. Thus, only the person who enjoys a
relationship of true sincerity and love with God can truly understand the
philosophy of the acceptance of prayer. Therefore, to enquire about this
holy philosophy from Sayyid Ahmad Khan Sahib is like seeking the
remedy of a human illness from a veterinary surgeon. If Sayyid Sahib were
to expound the relationship between a worldly government and its subjects,

Report on the Jalsa Salana of 1897, Compiled by Sheikh Yaqub Ali Irfanira, pp. 33-61

“”There are some who in the Prayer desire to rid themselves of evil distractions immediately, although يُقِيْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ (He establishes the Prayer), indicates something quite the opposite. Is Allah unaware? Hazrat Sheikh Abdul-Qadir Jilani, may Allah have mercy on him, states that spiritual reward is earned only until strenuous efforts remain. When these efforts cease to exist, spiritual reward no longer remains either. In other words, fasting and Prayer are considered deeds only as long as one is required to struggle against evil temptation to perform them. However, when these deeds attain a higher status, and the one who fasts and observes the Prayer escapes the clutches of forced effort and develops an inherent inclination to virtue, fasting and observing Prayer no longer remain to be deeds. Then, Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilanirh goes on to raise the question himself: ‘Does this mean that such a person is exempt from observing Prayer? For spiritual reward was only attainable until a person was required to make a forced effort.’ The fact of the matter is that Prayer no longer remains to be a deed, rather, it becomes a reward in itself. This Prayer becomes the nourishment of such a person and the delight of their eyes; it is paradise on earth”””.

Righteousness Fills Others with Awe
The truth is that righteousness fills others with awe as well and God Almighty does not waste those who are pious. Syed Abdul-Qadir Jilani, may Allah have mercy on him, was an illustrious saint who had a very pure soul. I read in a book that on one occasion he told his mother that his heart was greatly dismayed by the world. ‘It is my desire to search for a leader who can show me the ways of attaining tranquillity and comfort’, he said. When his mother observed that her son was not interested in worldly matters, she agreed and said: ‘Alright, I relieve you.’ After saying this, she went inside and returned with eighty coins that she had saved. Then she said, ‘Of these coins, in accordance with the Islamic shariah, forty belong to you and forty to your elder brother. And so I give you your share of forty coins.’ Then, she sewed the forty coins into the underarm of his shirt
and advised him to take out the coins upon reaching a safe destination and to use them as he so required. Syed Abdul-Qadirrh requested his mother to give him some advice. ‘Do not lie my son’, she said, ‘This will bring with it immense blessing.’ With this advice, he embarked on his quest. It so happened that there were some robbers and pillagers who lived in the jungle that he passed through, who would loot travellers. These robbers spotted Abdul-Qadir Jilanirh from afar and when they came close, they found a simple ascetic. One of them mockingly inquired: ‘Do you have anything in your possession?’ A short time ago, he had just heard the advice to not speak falsehood, and so he immediately said: ‘Yes, there are forty coins in my underarm, which my mother has sewn to my shirt as a pouch.’ The first robber thought that he was only retorting sarcastically. But when the second robber inquired the same, he gave the same response. Hence, Abdul- Qadir Jilanirh responded to every robber in the same manner, who then took him to their leader and said that this person has been giving us all the same response. The leader said: ‘Alright, why do you not search his clothes?’ When they finished their search, the robbers found forty coins. They were astonished that this was some strange person, and that they had never seen such an individual before. The leader inquired: ‘What is the reason behind you revealing the whereabouts of your wealth?’ ‘I have set out in search of God’s religion,’ said Abdul-Qadir Jilanirh, ‘and my mother advised me to never speak falsehood; this was my first test, so why would I lie?’ Upon hearing this, the leader of the robbers began to weep and said: ‘Alas! I did not obey God even once.’ The leader addressed the other thieves and said: ‘These words and the steadfastness of this person have transformed me. I cannot be a part of you. I repent.’ At this, the other robbers repented as well. I believe that the legendary ‘making saints out of thieves’ or ای 􀋄 چوروں قطب بنا یا refers to this very incident. Hence, Syed Abdul-Qadir Jilanirh states that the first people who repented on his hand were thieves. This is why Allah the Exalted states:

يٰۤاَيُّهَا الذَِّيْنَ اٰمَنُوا اصْبِرُوْا 1
O ye who believe! Be steadfast.

Patience begins as a speck and then takes on the form of a large circle which ultimately encompasses all to the extent that it even transforms the wicked. Therefore, it is imperative for man to never let go of righteousness and tread firmly on the paths of virtue. A righteous person surely influences others and even fills the hearts of opponents with awe”””.

“”Sixthly, they do not consider any of the saints or pious people to be righteous. I have heard from one of my teachers that Hazrat Syed Abdul-Qadir Jilanirh would use foul language. The fact of the matter is that Yazid is most disgraced. As far as his involvement in the martyrdom of Imam Husaynra is concerned, he is responsible for this evil, but the Shias of today, even collectively, could not offer the religious services that he rendered”””.

“””We can furnish conclusive proof to every seeker after truth that from the time of our lord and master the Holy Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be on him] up to this day, in every century there have appeared men of God through whom God Almighty has guided other people by the display of heavenly signs. Of these were Sayyed ‘Abdul-Qadir Jilani, Abu-al-Hasan Kharqani, Abu Yazid Bistami, Junaid Baghdadi, Mohy-ud-Din Ibne-‘Arabi, Dhunnun Misri, Mu‘in-ud-Din Chishti Ajmeri, Qutb ud-Din Bakhtiar Kaki, Farid-ud-Din Pakpatni, Nizam-ud-Din Dehlvi, Shah Wali-ullah Dehlvi, and Sheikh Ahmad Sarhandi (Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him).’’

“””Jesus (as) did not accept this satanic inspiration and simply rejected it. This was indeed something praiseworthy. To criticise it is a folly and amounts to ignorance of spiritual philosophy. Not every saint or sufi can repel and expose the filth of satanic suggestion as Jesusas did with the whip of his light. Sayyid Abdul Qadir Jilanira says, ”I too received a satanic inspiration once. Satan said: ‘O Abdul Qadir! all your prayers are accepted. From now on whatsoever is forbidden to others is lawful to you. You are even exempt from obligatory prayers. Do whatever you please.’ At this, I said, ‘Be off O Satan! how can something that was not permissible for the Holy Prophets be permissible for me!’ After this, Satan disappeared from my sight along with his golden throne.” Now, when even a man of God and a unique human like Abdul Qadir received a satanic inspiration, how can ordinary humans, who have not yet fully accomplished their spiritual journey, be secure against it, for—unlike Sayyid Abdul Qadirra and Jesus (as)—they lack the spiritual eyes with which to recognize satanic inspirations.”””

“””The Entire Foundation Rests on Struggle
The entire foundation rests on struggle. God Almighty states:
وَالذَِّيْنَ جَاهَدُوْا فِيْنَا لَنَهْدَِينهَُّمْ سُبُلَنَا 2 This means, those who strive in our way, we open to them all the avenues that lead to us. Nothing can happen without struggle. Those people who say that Syed Abdul-Qadir Jilani, may Allah have mercy on him, turned a robber into a saint, with a single glance, are deluded. It is statements like these which have ruined the people. People think that an individual can be transformed into a saint by incantations and spells”””.

But if they were asked for evidence, they have nothing. The miracles of Syed Abdul-Qadir Jilani, may Allah have mercy on him, are related abundantly, but none of them are recorded in any of his books. Now, people ought to fear God and tell us after reflection: how can those events which were recorded hundreds of years after their assumed occurrence be held as true, while those signs which are being witnessed before the very eyes of the people be rejected?”””

The man requested His Holinessas to pray for his son who was ill. The Promised Messiah as promised to pray for him. Then, the man submitted: “Your Holiness, you have actually come here for us; it is people like me for whom God Almighty has given rise to such circumstances that you have come here, so that we who yearn to meet you, may be blessed and be fortunate enough to see you.” His Holinessas responded: “Indeed, sometimes this is the case, for God Almighty does not wish to deprive those from meeting me who for some reason are unable to visit Qadian, but possess sincerity.” The Promised Messiah as said: “It is written that two saints, one being Hazrat Abu Sa’eedrh, the spiritual guide of Hazrat Syed Abdul-Qadir Jilanirh, and another saint met with one another somewhere. The discussion which took place between them was as to why God Almighty took His Holiness, our Noble Messenger of God, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, from Mecca to Medina by means of the migration. One from among these two saints stated that divine expediency and wisdom demanded that the stations and lofty ranks which were to be bestowed upon the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, were destined to be conferred upon him only after he had experienced the pains of migration and travel, and after he had borne the burden of severe trials and tribulations”””.

as. He said: “During our time as Sufi leaders, we were renowned for our ‘miracles,’ even though these had been falsely attributed to us. We had many disciples and followers. On one occasion, I mentioned to my brother, and this fear had crossed my mind many times in the past, that the miracles for which our father is renowned are most probably the same in nature as those attributed to us. Then, we began to think that this was probably the same for Sheikh Abdul-Qadir Jilanirh and other saints as well. Hence, I became firmer…””

‘’Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani (may Allah have mercy on him) has said: I have seen my Lord in the form of my father. I too have had the same experience. My father was a man of impressive presence and possessed great courage and high resolve. I saw him seated on a glorious throne and it was conveyed to me that he was God.

The point of it is that as a father is deeply affectionate and compassionate and is most
closely related, a vision of God Almighty, in the form of one’s father is a manifestation of God’s favour, His closeness, and His deep love. That is why the Holy Quran says:

‘Remember God with the same fervour as you were wont to remember your fathers or
even with greater fervour’ (2:20)

and one of my revelations also says: You are to Me like My children. This vision is an illustration of the verse of the Quran I have just referred to’’.

It is unjust and wicked to suggest that all God Almighty desires is for us to declare with our mouths that the Holy Prophet sas is the Seal of Prophets, yet all the while one should continue indulging in the same misdeeds that one fancies and to create one’s own shariah. People have invented the Baghdad prayer and the ‘inverted prayer’ (ma’kus namaz), etc. Is there mention of such practices anywhere in the Holy Quran or in the example of the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him? Now decide for yourselves, with such beliefs and practices, can such people be justified in accusing me that I have broken the Seal of Prophethood? Maulvi Abdul-Hayy, who has always been a follower of the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet sas, and whom I love dearly, was a firm believer in the Oneness of God. He would always keep himself distanced from innovations in the faith and self-invented beliefs. He would say in relation to these statements that if they are in harmony with the Quran, what can one say? So to continue, he would say that the wondrous feats and miracles of saints are actually like the miracles of the Prophets, peace be upon them.

Therefore, this is a miracle of the Quran. The fact of the matter is that the miracles that one is given after following the Sunnah in letter and spirit are actually the miracles of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and the Holy Quran. “””An Incident of Hazrat Sheikh Abdul-Qadir Jilanirh Related to Truthfulness
There is an account narrated about Syed Abdul-Qadir Jilani, may Allah have mercy on him, that when he set out away from home for the purpose of his education, his noble mother sewed his share of eighty coins into the underarm of his shirt and advised him: ‘Son, do not lie.’ When Syed Abdul-Qadir rh departed, on the first day of his journey he passed through a jungle that was inhabited by a large band of thieves and robbers. A party of robbers confronted and apprehended him. The robbers asked: ‘What have you in your possession?’ Syed Abdul-Qadir rh thought to himself that he was being tested in the first stage of his journey; he reflected over his mother’s advice and said: ‘I have eighty coins which my noble mother has sewn into the underarm of my shirt.’ The robbers were extremely surprised on hearing this and said: ‘What is this dervish saying! We have never seen such a righteous man!’ They took him and putting him before their chief, related the entire story. When the chief questioned him, Syed Abdul-Qadir Jilani rh gave the same response. Finally, when his shirt was torn at the place that he had described, it turned out that there were indeed eighty coins sewn into his shirt. All the robbers were astonished and the chief asked why Syed Abdul-Qadir rh had told them the truth. At this, Syed Abdul-Qadir Jilani rh mentioned the advice that his mother had given him before he departed. He said: ‘I have set out as a student of religion. If I had told a lie at the very first stage of my journey, what could I expect to attain? And so, I chose to stand by the truth.’ When Syed Abdul-Qadir rh said these words, the chief burst into tears, fell at his feet and repented for his sins. It is said that this chief was the first follower of Syed Abdul-Qadir Jilani rh.”””

A Miracle of the Saints The Promised Messiah as said: “The era of prophethood could be described as نُوْرٌ عَلىٰ نُوْر (light upon light); it was a shining sun. However, the miracles and wonders that are attributed to the saints after this era cannot be proven and one cannot clearly determine their historical authenticity. For example, the miracles of Sheikh Abdul-Qadir Jilani
rh were penned some two hundred years after his demise. Furthermore, such saints were not met with circumstances where they contended against adversaries as have I, nor were they faced with the sort of trial by which I am confronted in this age.”

“””Striving is a wonderful elixir. Syed ‘Abdul-Qadir Jilani, Allah be pleased with him, undertook great strivings. Read the stories of the great divines that have passed in India, the likes of Moin-ud-Din Chishti and Farid-ud-Din, Allah have mercy on them both, and you will learn about the various struggles they had to undergo. The truth is not disclosed without effort.””

“””If a person possesses true discernment, then he can understand these things. The book Futuh-ul-Ghaib by Syed ‘Abdul-Qadir Jilani, may Allah have mercy on him, is an exceptionally brilliant book. I have read it many times. It is free from innovations. Some books of Sufis are of a kind that innovations have also found their way into them, but this book is exceedingly
impressive………..

……………These Wujudis are highly despicable and detestable. It is an occasion of pity that of all the many gaddis [spiritual orders] that exist, there is perhaps not even a single one of them which does not subscribe to this belief. The greatest regret of all is that the sect of Syed ‘Abdul-Qadir Jilani, may Allah have mercy on him, which is called Qadri, has also become Wujudis, although
Syed ‘Abdul-Qadir was not a wujudi. His conduct and his writings show the practical confirmation of اِهْدِنَااِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَالصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيْمَالْمُسْتَقِيْمَ1 [ihdinas-siratal-mustaqim—Guide us in the right path].

Scholars simply think that اِهْدِنَااِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَالصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيْمَالْمُسْتَقِيْمَ is only for recitation, but it has no practical effect and impact. But he [Syed ‘Abdul-Qadir Jilani] shows in practical terms that there are examples of such noble مُُُمُنْْْنْعَََعَمْْْمْ عَََعَلَََلَیْْْیْہ [mun‘am ‘alaih—those upon whom the favours of God have descended] people in this Ummah.

In short, it is the grace of Allah the Exalted that—although such people are rare—they certainly exist, who love God Almighty perfectly and, while living in this very world, practice detachment [from the world] and prepare for the journey to the Hereafter. These affairs are apportioned to the lots of these very people such as Syed ‘Abdul-Qadir Jilani, may Allah have mercy on him, whereas now—in opposition to him—there is an abundance of Wujudis, and this is why sin and iniquity is growing”””.

“””On account of being veiled [from the truth], people feel uneasy with the word wahi [revelation]. Otherwise, it is written there [in the Holy Quran] that even the bee received revelation. In fact, Sheikh ‘Abdul-Qadir [al-Jilani] has written that the fear of an evil end exists for anyone who has never received revelation. Perfect cognition cannot be attained without converse and dialogue [with God]”””.

“””Hadrat Sayyid ‘Abdul-Qadir Jilani, may Allah be pleased with him, was very sincere and worthy of glory. Did people not pray and fast during his era? Then why does he have excellence and superiority over all of them? Because others did not have within them that which he had within him. This is a spirit which, when it develops in someone, Allah the Exalted includes such a person among His chosen ones. However, that accursed life is not approved by God, which a man makes by hypocrisy and deception in the state and pretence of Prayer and Fasting. Such people play with words and logic. God Almighty does not like boasting; indeed, it makes Him angry. In the sight of Allah the Exalted, those Prayers, Fasting, Zakat, and charity are not worthy of any value or merit in which there is no sincerity. On the contrary, they are a curse. They become blessed only when
there is complete harmony between the heart and tongue”””.

“””Sheikh ‘Abdul-Qadir Jilani, Allah’s mercy be upon him, was an extremely godly and honoured individual. He has written that one who wishes to see the path of God must read the Holy Quran. Now, if we were to include additions to the way stated by the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and invent new practices, or go against his way, it would be kufr [disbelief].

Just as a great many sects have formed amongst the scholars during this age, so have many sects arisen among the ascetics, and all of them express their various interpretations as a new approach. The whole world is becoming like this, so the need for reform is everywhere. It is indeed for this reason that God Almighty has sent that Mujaddid [Reformer] in this age who has been given the title Masih-e-Mau‘ud [the Promised Messiah], and who had been eagerly anticipated since antiquity. All the Prophets had prophesied about him and the noble elders of yore held on to the yearning that they might chance upon his day””.

Such communion cannot be maintained without obedience to me. “”Once my father saw in a dream that a crown had descended from heaven and he said to place that crown on the head of [Mirza] Ghulam Qadir (elder brother of the Promised Messiah). However, its interpretation was really about me as it often happens that you see a dream for one relative, but it comes true for another. Take note that he alone is Ghulam Qadir who indeed proves himself to be a ghulam [servant] of Qadir [the Omnipotent]. In those days I would also be getting those very types of dreams. Hence, I would feel in my heart that he was misinterpreting it. I am actually intended by it. Sayyid ‘Abdul-Qadir Jilani rta has also written that a time comes upon man that he is given the title ‘Abdul-Qadir [Servant of the Omnipotent], just as God Almighty has given me the title ‘Abdul-Qadir through revelation”””.

اللہُُاللہ [Remain Standing at the Place where Allah has Made you Stand]
A person related his dream that indicated to carrying out a significant project, but the means to do so were not readily available. However, he desired to commence this project straight away due to the dream.

The Promised Messiah as said:

Some dreams are such as come to fulfilment after a long period of time. One should wait patiently until Allah the Exalted provides the means for the task to be carried out. Look! All the difficulties that befell Hadrat Yusuf as [ Joseph] were due to the premature disclosure of his dream. How well Sheikh ‘Abdul-Qadir Jilani, mercy be upon him, has stated that a faqir [an ascetic] should act upon: قِِقیََیامََم فِِفیْْی مََما اََاقََقامََم اللہُُاللہ ; meaning that, he should remain standing at the place where God Almighty has made him stand until God Almighty Himself creates the means to move from there”””.

MGA said:

A venerable person has written—I believe in good faith with some good intention, despite his statement being incorrect— that Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani was not a perfect saint and as his nuzul [descent] was not complete, he only had su’ood [ascent], and that is why he showed many miracles. Had his nuzul been perfect, he would not have shown any miracle. The extent to which this statement contradicts the Holy Quran is quite obvious. This statement is totally against the Holy Quran and the Hadith. The truth is that Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani was from among the perfect servants of God. If one were to criticize him for his miracles, then this criticism would extend to all Prophets. Such is the consequence of following the wrong phraseology of these Sufis, which is not affirmed by the Holy Quran and Hadith””.

“””The Sufis say that a person’s absolute dependence upon God does not become perfect without his being able to distinguish the proper place and occasion for supplication. It has been said that a Sufi does not pray till he recognizes that it is time for prayer. Sayyed ‘Abd-ul-Qadir Jilani (may Allah be pleased with him) has said that through prayer an unfortunate one is rendered fortunate. He has even gone so far as to affirm that deeply hidden matters, which resemble an absolute decree, can also be averted by prayer. In short it should always be remembered in connection with prayer that sometimes God Almighty requires obedience to His own will and at other times He grants the supplication of a servant of His. In other words He deals with His servant like a friend. The prayers of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) were accepted on a grand scale and corresponding to this he stood very high in bowing to the will of God and in accepting it cheerfully. He lost eleven children, but he never asked “Why?”””

“””Allah the Exalted is truthful and does not lie. He says that all Prophets who came, from Adam to the last one, have been ridiculed and mocked. However, when time passes, people begin to glorify them. Almost 200 ulema of his time issued a fatwa [religious verdict] of apostasy against Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani, may Allah have mercy upon him. Ibn Jawzi, who was a scholar of Hadith of his time, wrote a book and titled it Talbis Iblis, and used much bitter and unseemly words against him. Yet, the whole world knows how he [Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani] was acknowledged as a wonderfully accomplished and pious man, and how he was acclaimed far and wide just a couple of hundred years after his demise. He is not alone in this. All saintly people have received the same treatment. So, on this same pattern, all the ulema of the Punjab and India have bestowed upon me the titles of kafir [disbeliever], dajjal [deceiver], fasiq [transgressor], fajir [sinner], etc. They claim that I—God forbid—abuse the Prophets, whereas I hold all Prophets in great esteem, and it is to manifest their grandeur and truth that I have, in fact, been sent””.

“””It is a strange phenomenon that of all the pious men of God who have passed away, absolutely none were spared these accusations of apostasy. How very pious and blessed they were! Even Hazrat Sayyed Abdul Qadir Jilani, may Allah shower His mercy upon him, had a decree of apostasy written against him by nearly 200 scholars of the time. Ibn al-Jawzi, who was the Hadith expert of his day, wrote a frightful book about this decree of apostasy against Hazrat Sayyed Abdul Qadir Jilani, and titled it Talbis Iblis. I have heard that a verdict of disbelief
was also issued against Shah Waliullah. This ‘disbelief ’ must indeed be a blessing, for it always falls in the very lot of the Auliya [Friends of Allah] and the holy ones of God Almighty!””

‘’As I began I was reminded of yet another thing. It was a long forgotten vision that I saw soon after the death of the Promised Messiah — peace be on him. At the time I did not realise its significance. In the vision, I found myself sitting on a prayer mat after prayer. In my hand I am holding a book about which I am told is by Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani. The name of the book is Minhaj al-Talibin (Way of the Seekers). I read the book and put it aside. I then recalled that the book was to be returned to Hazrat Khalifatul Masih I, and I begin to look for it. During the search I found another book. Simultaneously I found myself repeating the words: ‘’No one knows about the hosts of Thy Lord, except He Himself. ‘’ I thought there was a book bearing that title by Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani, and I should find it. So I enquired from Hazrat Khalifatul Masih I, who told me that there was no book with just that title but that there was one with a somewhat similar title, namely Ghaniyyat al-Talibin. I continued my search and found that there was no such book by Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani or anyone else. It then occurred to me that it might be that I myself would have the opportunity to write a book with that title. The name Abdul Qadir indicated that the book would be the result not of my own thinking so much as the result of special understanding bestowed upon me by God. Therefore, I decided to call this speech Minhaj al-Talibin.’’

As for the news of what will happen, you can ask a friend to translate وأخبرني بأكثر ما هو مزمع عليه في سابق علمه for you. He also stated that Allah ﷻ discloses to the Awliya’ (not just Prophets and Messengers) the knowledge of the unseen and every great news.
