Intro
In Islam, the day of death for everyone has been written by Allah. In the Quran, via 16:61 (16:62 in the Kadiani Koran)(See also 63:10-11), Allah tells the world that people don’t die before their appointment term (which Allah has already determined), it doesn’t matter how bad they are or what they do. In Ibn Kathir (3022/6610), 16:61 is explained as Allah doesn’t punish someone with death before their appointed term and this cannot be changed, it was set by Allah himself.

However, MGA was silent on 16:61 (16:62 in the Kadiani Koran) and the implications of this verse on MGA’s death prophecies. In the 1990’s, Mirza Tahir Ahmad was asked about changing destiny via prayer (dua). He mentions Athim and alleged that Athim repented and thus his date of death of delayed. Thus all of MGA’s death prophecies are against Islam! Was MGA promoting the Shia doctrine of Bada?

During the prophecy vs. Abdul Hakim Khan Patialvi, MGA alleged that his God extended his date of death in such a way that MGA would win the duel (See Nov-5th announcement). However, MGA died in May of 1908, with time remaining! Abdul Hakim Khan Patialvi had specified that his prophecy ran up til Aug-1908 (see lots of scans herein), and MGA died of cholera just 2 months before it’s expiration.

Allah does not immediately punish for Disobedience

Allah tells us about His patience with His creatures, even though they do wrong. If He were to punish them for what they have done, there would be no living creature left on the face of the earth, i.e., He would have destroyed every animal on earth after destroying the sons of Adam. But the Lord magnificent is His gloiy – is forbearing and He covers people’s faults. He waits until the appointed time, i.e.. He does not rush to punish them. If He did, then there would be no one left. Ibn Jarir reported that Abu Salamah said: “Abu Hurayrah heard a man saying, The wrongdoer harms no one but himself.’ He turned to him and said, That is not true, by Allah! Even the buzzard dies in its nest because of the sins of the wrongdoer.’”* 11

This verse furnishes an answer to a possible doubt arising from the preceding verse. The doubter would say, if Divine revelation is the only source of guidance, and teachings devised by man all lead to error, why then do disbelievers, in spite of their rejection of Divine guidance, not always come to grief in this life? On the contrary, many of them are seen to prosper, which fact shows that they are not altogether in the wrong. One answer implied in the verse is that if thieves, robbers and murderers do not always meet with immediate punishment and sometimes get respite, how can respite granted to rejecters of the Quran be adduced as a proof that it is not the revealed word of God? Another reason embodied in this verse as to why punishment is not always meted out to the guilty is that if all sins had been at once punished by God, the world would have come to an end and all life on earth would have become extinct. Man would have perished as a result of his sins and there would have been no purpose in the beasts, animals, birds etc., remaining alive after his destruction. Being created for man’s use and benefit they would have perished with him. So God’s wise plan in granting respite to evildoers and deferring their punishment provides yet another proof of the life after death when man’s actions will meet with full and even-handed justice.
