Intro
In 2021, there are barely 300 Ahmadi’s in Finland and mostly asylum cases and Ahmadi’s working as Taxi drivers. The National Sadr is Ata ul Ghalib. Musawer Ahmed Shahkar is serving as missionary-in-charge and naib sadr, he is the only missionary in all of Finland. He is also serving in the rishta nata (matrimonial) department. Syed Abdul Samad Sahib is the General Secretary. It seems that all of these people have recently arrived on asylum visas. There is an Ahmadiyya mission house.
Back in 1956, an Ahmadi missionary, Kamal Yousuf toured Denmark. Kamal Yousaf was named as the regional missionary for Scandinavia, which covers Norway, Sweden, Denmark and sometimes more narrowly to the Scandinavian Peninsula, or more broadly to include the Åland Islands, the Faroe Islands, Finland, and Iceland. He worked extensively in Sweden too, see here.
It should be noted, in the 1955 english translation of the Quran (and minor commentary), Ahmadiyya scholars (Maulvi Sher Ali, a companion of MGA), Jinn were called “white-people” from Northern Europe, from the mountainous area (which can only be Finland, Norway and Sweden).
In April-2026, via an episode of this week with Huzoor, an Ahmadi girl from Finland asked Mirza Masroor Ahmad what she should do since her Muslim teachers have tried to teach her that Muhammad (saw) is the final prophet. Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that even Muslims believe that the Messiah to come is a prophet, so what’s their issue (See the clip on Twitter and TikTok)?
