Intro
In 1913, less than a year before he became Khalifa, Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad wrote (his team wrote it) an article in the Al-Fazl (July 16th, 1913) wherein he discussed “Maroof decisions” of Muhammad (Saw) or his Khulafa. This article was converted into a book and inserted into Anwar-ul Aloom, Vol. 1 (page 13). The Al-Fazl had barely came into existence in June of 1913. These seem to be Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad’s preface to becoming a autocratic Khalifa. What is really interesting is that he didn’t quote MGA’s writings on “Khilafat Minhaj un Nubuwwat”.
