Intro
In the April-1933 edition of the ROR, there is an essay entitled, “The Ahmadiyya Movement As Viewed By A Christian Writer”. This seems to be a book by Lieut-Col. M.L. Ferrar in a called “Whither Islam” edited by H.A.R. Gibb (Professor of Arabic, University of London).
In “Whither Islam”, he mentions Ahmadiyya on page 87, 184, 214-219, 287-288, 309 and 353. He mentions the Ahmadiyya propaganda work in West Africa (Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Liberia and Guinea littoral). The same book was quoted in the ROR of May-1933.
Gibb was also quoted in the Via the Moslem Sunrise of 3rd Quarter-1949, in terms of his comments on the Lahori’s vs. Qadiani-Ahmadi’s. And again in the Muslim Sunrise of the 2nd Quarter-1953 and the Muslim Sunrise of the 2nd Quarter-1956.
