Who is Mr. Musa Mewa?

Intro
Musa Mewa is currently the top Qadiani-Ahmadi in Sierra Leone since 2022 and working as the Ameer of the Qadiani’s. He is a former student, it’s unclear when he converted or if his parents are Qadiani’s. He seems to be working as a lawyer in Sierra Leone. In 2024, he defended the business model of Ahmadiyya in Africa and alleged that intelligent people were converting to Ahmadiyya in contrast to the assertions of Adnan Rashid that Ahmadiyya is preying on the poor via schools and hospitals, just like the Christians. Musa Mewa alleged that there are 332 Ahmadiyya schools (21:12 time stamp) in Sierra Leone in 2024, however, he didn’t tell how many Ahmadi’s there are in Sierra Leone, nor did he say how many temples-masjids they have! Furthermore, he presented MGA as a Mahdi in this interview, not as a prophet. He also didn’t tell how Ahmadiyya gets government funding for their schools (See Fisher).

He can be seen at a “Waqar-e-Amal” in 2020. He also gave a speech at the 2020-Jalsa Salana in Sierra Leone (the 57th annual conference) wherein he introduced some judges of which a few were Qadiani’s (Aloo si sisi, he was an old student of Ahmadiyya schools and alleged to be a member, and currently working in the Supreme Court of Sierra Leone). There seems to have been other judges who were also alleged as members of the Ahmadiyya Community and former students.

In 2022, he got a grand entrance by the Ahmadiyya Jamaat Bo region (close to the Nasir Mosque-temple). He was introduced as the newly appointed Ameer Mr. Musa Mewa on 30-07-2022 after an unforgettable tenure of outgoing Ameer Maulana Saeed ul Rahman who has served in Sierra Leone for 18 good years. He also toured Freetown as part of his introduction as the new Ameer.

In 2023, he was in the UK and gave a short speech on Ahmadiyya in Africa at a PAAMA conference.
