Intro
In 1893, via MGA’s debate with Athim, via the book, “Holy War” (Jung-e-Muqadas), MGA alleged that it was the Islamic belief that the adulterer should be stoned to death (see page 232). However, this is based on a famous hadith, not the Quran and MGA didn’t specify that. In fact, MGA tried to say that stoning an adulterer is in the Quran.

In total contradiction to MGA, in the 5-volume Official Qadiani-Ahmad English Commentary of the Quran, Malik Ghulam Farid wrote that flogging was the punishment for zina only and stoning only happened before the law came down, or Muhammad (Saw) was following the mosaic law. The writings of Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad on this are unknown as of Dec-2024.
