Intro
The very famous Michael Muhammad Knight published new research in 2024 via “The Supreme Wisdom Lessons”.
On page 24, Berg is quoted and how he said that Fard gave Elijah Muhammad a Quran in 1933.
On page 42, Sufi Muti-ur-Rahman Bengali is mentioned and how he was preaching for people to accept Moses (as), Jesus (as), Krishna and Buddha in the 1930’s (See Moslem Sunrise, July-1930, page 18).
On page 45, Michael Muhammad Knight points out how a book by Khwaja Kamaludin from 1913 (See Islamic Review of Aug-1913) was plagiarized by Elijah Muhammad in 1935. This was found during an FBI raid on May-14, 1942. Via another raid on Sep-20-1942, a 14-page pamphlet, “The Essence of the Koran” by Fatma Ahmet Kravich was also found (this is an unknown piece of literature).
On page 46, Michael Muhammad Knight points out Mufti Muhammad Sadiq told the world that MGA was the Messiah for the Christians and Mahdi for the Muslims. (See Moslem Sunrise, Oct-1922, page 134). However, I checked this and this is not accurate, MGA was simply called the Prophet Ahmad, Promised Messiah and Mahdi.
Sadly, Michael Muhammad Knight only mentioned Fatima Fanusie and her PhD work only once with no specifics, he only references her in terms of Muhammad Abdullah=an Ahmadi Maulvi (see pages 46, 47 and 58).
On page 47, Michael Muhammad Knight points out Mufti Muhammad Sadiq posted fake degrees from scam colleges in the Moslem Sunrise (See the Moslem Sunrise, Oct-1921, page 35 and April 1922, last page). In 1921, it was a Doctor of Divinity diploma from the College of Divine Metaphysics”, a New York thought institution in St. Louis. In 1922, it was a “Doctor of Orientalist Sciences, from Oriental University. This was a huge scam ran by Helmuth P. Holler, who was arrested and thrown in jail in 1926.
Michael Muhammad Knight explains how Muhammad Yusuf Khan (an Ahmadi Maulvi in the USA from 1922 to 1975) submitted a photo of himself, Mufti Muhammad Sadiq and Maulvi Muhammad Din in the Aug-1927 edition of the Occult Digest. He alleges that there are 1400 Ahmadi’s in America. MGA is introduced as a “Prophet without law” and a “Promised Messiah”. Buddha, Rama, Krishna, Confucius and Zoroaster are presented as Prophets (See Michael Muhammad Knight, “The Supreme Wisdom Lessons” [2024], page 47).
On page 99, Michael Muhammad Knight explains how some organizations thought the Ahmadiyya Movement was (See Horne, Facing the Rising Sun, page 110) a Japanese spy organization.
On page 129, Michael Muhammad Knight mentions how Elijah Muhammad had prayer lessons from Maulvi Muhammad Ali’s 1920 Quran (not the famous 1917 edition). Berg is quoted and how he said that Fard gave Elijah Muhammad a Quran in 1933.
