In this video (2024)(26:45 time stamp), Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that the Canadian Government has cancelled the quota for foreign students at Jamia Canada. It seems that the Ahmadiyya Movement in Canada (AMJ) had an annual foreign student quota for many years. They must have been getting Ahmadi’s out of Pakistan with foreign student visas and even Musleh Shanboor was a foreign student. Is this linked to the case of Murrabi Luqman Rana? Who has been famously been convicted as child rapist.
This was in response to a young Ahmadi requesting to attend Jamia-Canada. Mirza Masroor Ahmad also said that the only option was to go to Ghana and study at the Jamia there. The young Ahmadi immediately agrees that he would love to go to Ghana. Mirza Masroor Ahmad then says if you beat malaria and mosquitos, then maybe (in a classical desi way). Mirza Masroor Ahmad then says that even in the UK, it’s not allowed (the quota for foreign students at Jamia-UK). Mirza Masroor Ahmad then alleges that he spoke to the UK government (this could be agency or a politician) and asked them to allow for Ahmadi’s from America to attend Jamia-UK. This implies that there was an annual special foreign visa quota for students at Jamia-Canada and Jamia-UK. Mirza Masroor Ahmad then advises the young Ahmadi that he should go to Jamia-Ghana for 2 years, then try to transfer to Jamia-Canada, Mirza Masroor Ahmad reiterates that the ban on Jamia-Canada is 1-2 years only, he says, after that, apply for migration (I think he means get a visa for Canada, it’s really unclear).
On twitter, it was alleged that Maulvi Raheel Ahmad used the T-2 visa to get out of Pakistan.
