Intro
In June-2025, Mirza Masroor Ahmad met with Ansar who work as “Amila” for the Denmark Jamaat of Ahmadi‘s (See this week with huzoor)(instagram). Mirza Masroor Ahmad acknowledged that he knew about Ahmadi’s and their plight in refugee camps and has even met a few in Denmark. He gave techniques wherein Ahmadi’s are required to be nice and ask about a person’s well being and slowly entrap them into paying chanda (twitter and TikTok).
They specifically asked about Ahmadi’s stuck in refugee camps and whether or not they should be forced to pay chanda. However, this is strange because in Denmark there aren’t any Ahmadi’s stuck in any refugee camp. The Ahmadi who asked the question also stated and acknowledged that some Ahmadi elders (Ansar, 40+) don’t want to remain in contact with the Jamaat or are uncooperative. The Ahmadi questioner states that they don’t even pay chanda and are still on the Jamaat census, and what should be done about them? Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that any person who says that they are an “Ahmadi” will be listed in the “Tajneed” (census). Mirza Masroor Ahmad says if they make money, they should pay chanda. If they aren’t making any money, they can write a letter and ask to not pay, since they have NO income. They can also say that we make so little income, that we can’t pay chanda. However, they will stay be part of the census (tajneed). However, they will not be allowed to hold any office, since they don’t pay chanda. Mirza Masroor Ahmad tells Ahmadi’s from Denmark not to remove members for inactivity or abandonment. Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that if they are super-poor and really need help, Ahmadi’s should feed them. Mirza Masroor Ahmad says (14:33) that the Ahmadi’s who are stuck in asylum camps should be asking their respective host government for 1-2 hours of time on a Friday to go out of the refugee camp and attend an Ahmadiyya chanda center and then get some training on how to pay chanda and etc. The Ahmadi questioner then tells the Khalifa that we make contact with Ahmadi’s in refugee camps but they are non-cooperative. Mirza Masroor Ahmad then says the problem is that the Ahmadi questioner and his workers only make contact to ask for chanda and nothing else! Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that they should make contact and ask them how are they doing? Are they weak? Do you need help? Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that they should tell Ahmadi’s in refugee camps that they aren’t there to ask for money. Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that they should invite them to prayers at the Ahmadiyya center and then joke with them about all of this and make them feel embarrassed (sarcasm). Mirza Masroor Ahmad also says to welcome them! Mirza Masroor Ahmad says the old Ahmadi Maulvi’s used to do this and run people off. Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that these are the techniques that people should use. Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that he has met many Ahmadi’s who were living in refugee camps, thus, the administration knows what they are doing since they scheduled these meetings (mulaqat) and it was also known that some didn’t pay chanda. Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that these are the techniques to reel in Ahmadi’s who are inactive or on the verge of leaving the Jamaat.
