Intro
A few days ago, someone asked me about the prevalence of “Hafiz” in Ahmadiyya, I quickly responded by saying that there are barely any of those, in fact, the 2nd Qadiani-Ahmadi Khalifa lied about his own son (Mirza Nasir Ahmad) being a Hafiz back in the 1922 (See Muslim Sunrise, July 1922, see page 110).
Furthermore, I remember about 15 years ago, in the USA, there was a strange Ahmadi named Hafiz Samiullah Chaudhary, who was on a National Tarbiyyat team and was presented as a scholar of Ahmadiyya. In 2014, he was working as National Secretary of “Waqf-e-Nau”. In 2017, he seems to have been the chapter of the Ahmadiyya Movement in President in North New Jersey. However, was he a Hafiz?
