Intro
Ahmadi’s are always crying and forcing Muslims to call Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as “Mirza sahib”, however, if we open Seeratul Mahdi (mostly compiled in 1923), MGA’s closest companions called him as “Mirza” only (listen to Amir Haq explaining it)(See Seerat-ul-Mahdi vol 1 part 3 page 824, narration 974)(this is from a newer edition of Seeratul Mahdi).
In this reference, the brother-in-law of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (”Doctor Mir Muhammad Ismail Sahib) told his nephew (Mirza Bashir Ahmad, MGA’s son), that Maulvi Nur ud Din (who became the 1st Qadiani-Ahmadi Khalifa) referred to MGA as Mirza only:
”Doctor Mir Muhammad Ismail Sahib narrated to me as, the first Khalifa tul Masih used to say, every Prophet has a kalima and Mirza’s kalima was”میں دین کو دنیا پر مقدم رکھوں گا”(i will precedence Deen on Duniya).
Interestingly, in 1900, MGA reported that Ahmadi’s were using (as) after mentioning MGA (see Arbain, online English edition, see page 12). Technically, this was before MGA claiming to be a prophet (this was a transition year, see “Haqiqat un Nubuwwat” [1915]).
