We have found a strange writing from the 2nd Khalifa wherein he claims that he was made a Khalifa before his election and via MGA. We are unsure of the context, however, the ref is posted.

“I didn’t become a Khalifa when Khalifa Awwal died and I was elected. I was made a Khalifa before him when the Promised Messiah was informed via revelation that I am the Khalifa. Therefore, I am not a Khalifa but a Promised Khalifa… I am not a Ma’mur (commissioned by God/ prophet) but my voice is the voice of God…”
