Intro
Maulvi Chaudhry Zahur Ahmad Bajwa (also called Z.A. Bajwa or Zahoor Ahmad Bajwa) was a Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi who was sent to the UK to work at the famous Fazl Mosque and as the missionary-in-charge of the UK.

He was born in 1919. By 1944, he was aged 25 and began being groomed to be a Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi, the 2nd Khalifa allegedly appointed Sufi Ghulam Muhammad to do the grooming. In 1945, he left Qadian for England arrived in England in 1946, he was part of the Ahmadiyya missionary push after WW-2 ended. In England, he worked under Jalal ud Din Shams during 1946, it’s unclear who became the new missionary-in-charge from the end of 1946 to 1955. Maulvi Mushtaq Ahmad Bajwa was a junior murrabi who worked extensively with Maulvi Chaudhry Zahur Ahmad Bajwa.

From January 1946 to 1949, Maulana Zahur Ahmad Bajwa Sahib served as the Naib Imam of the London Mosque. He then returned to Pakistan. He came back to London in late 1950 and became the head Imam of the famous Fazl Mosque. While he was gone to Pakistan, Maulvi Mushtaq Ahmad Bajwa took over as the imam of the Fazl Mosque.

From late 1950 to 1954, he was the main Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi at the Fazl Mosque, it’s unclear who the missionary-in-charge was. Maulvi Zahoor Ahmad Bajwa writes a book, “Islam and Universal Brotherhood”, this appeared in the Muslim Sunrise of the First Quarter-1953, this was for sale in every single edition of the Muslim Sunrise until the Muslim Sunrise of the 3rd Quarter-1959.

In 1955, he returned to Pakistan and worked for the Mirza family until he died in 2002.

He is born in the southern region of Sargodha, Pakistan, was the son of Chaudhary Sher Muhammad Sahib Bajwa.

After completing his primary education in his village, he pursued his Bachelor of Arts degree from Faisalabad in 1939. Subsequently, he commenced his professional career in Sialkot.

1944-1945

In the year 1944, Maulana Zahur Ahmad Bajwa dedicated his life to the Mirza family. The 2nd Qadiani-Caliph initiated his training and education under the guidance of Sufi Ghulam Muhammed.

He left Qadian for England.

From January 1946 to 1949, Maulana Zahur Ahmad Bajwa served as the Naib Imam of the London Mosque.

In what seems to be July of 1946, in London, 14 Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi’s took a picture together (see Rashid Ahmad’s, “Perseverance”, page 44). The Al-Hakam alleges that 9 of them were sent from Qadian.

He had the privilege of serving the Jama’at in various roles, including as the representative (Wakil Tabshir) until 1955. Additionally, from November 1955 to February 1960, he was appointed as the Naib Nazir Islah o Irshad by the second Khalifa.

1961-2002

From July 1961 to April 1969, he took on the responsibility of Nazir Zira’at (Agriculture Department), and during that period from 1966 to 1969, he also served as the Private Secretary to the Khalifa. He was also appointed as Nazir Amoor e Ama (Secretary of General Affairs) in May 1971 and as Nazir Amoor e Kharja (Secretary of Foreign Affairs) in 1978. From 1983 to 1995, he served as the additional Nazir Taleemul Quran Waqf e Arzi (Secretary for Quranic Education). From 1997, he dedicated his services as the Sadr (President) of Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya Pakistan until his demise.
