In a recent episode of “This week with Huzoor” (Nov-2024), Mirza Masroor Ahmad said that it’s possible for a Khalifa to be a prophet. He even said:  “what is prophethood? it’s only relaying a message”, in a real condescending/arrogant type of way. The clip is on tiktok and twitter.

He also said that a future claimant of prophethood must be a follower of MGA. He also mentioned the Jalali prophet (2:41 timestamp). He also mentioned the “Jalali Nabi”. In 2022, a Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi named Adnan Ahmed (@Adnan_Bhalli) argued that perhaps his God will make a future Khalifa as a Jalali Nabi.
