Rabwah Times is reporting that a 26-year-old Qadiani-Ahmadi soldier, Iqqan Bhatti, was laid to rest with full military honours in Rabwah, Punjab province. He died of cancer. His funeral was attended by the Army contingent and he was presented with a Attendance Duty and Salute.

Life and services
Sepoy Aqan Bhatti belonged to Mubarakabad, near Bashirabad in Sindh. A year ago, he moved to Karachi with his family. He was posted as a soldier in Multan and continued to perform duty during his illness. Keeping in view his services and dedication, he was expected to be promoted to the rank of Havaldar within four months.
The family and condolences
of the deceased have left behind three brothers and a sister. His untimely demise has saddened the family and fellow soldiers. Feelings of grief and tributes poured in, and the nation applauded the services of Sepoy Aqan Bhatti — a young man who did not give up his duty despite his health struggles.
