In the Cleveland Call and Post of Sat, Jan 06, 1934 ·Page 4, on the “Church and Sunday School” page, under the heading, “Among the Moslems” and under the subheading of “Cincinatti”, Y Waheed signs off after writing a report wherein black people are targeted by their propaganda, Dr. M.Y. Khan is declared as their missionary.

In the Cleveland Call and Post of Sat, May 05, 1934 ·Page 2, on the “Church and Sunday School” page, under the heading, “Among the Moslems” and under the subheading of “Akron Mosque” by Wakeel Mula. In this report, it is told that on Sunday Afternoon, Shaikh Abdus Suban was “in-charge” and other people present were Dr. M.Y. Khan, Bro Yoonus Waheed, Bro Abid Haque and two sisters from Cleveland. Allegedly, Bro Yoonas Waheed gave a talk on Islam. Bro Abid Haque also gave a few words of encouragement. Dr. M.Y. Khan also gave a lecture, as did Abdus Subhan.

In May-1934, (12th), Shaikh Saadi Malik wrote a report under the headline “Among the Moslems”, the sub-heading “Proceedings of the Pittsburgh Mosque” a photo of M. Yusuf Khan is also affixed. Shaikh Saadi Malik reports that Shaikh ilm Deen was there and gave a speech on Sunday night, Apr-29. Shaikh ilm Deen spoke about a proposed mosque at Steubenville Mosque. Shaikh Farook and Brother Rasool gave speeches. Shaikh Yoanas Waheed (Yunus Waheed?) was also there. Shaikh Wali Dod is mentioned as someone who is working with Moslems in the “South Side” and teaching them Arabic. It is also announced that Dr. M.Y. Khan will be at the Mosque soon (See the Cleveland Call and Post of Sat, May 12, 1934 ·Page 2).
