Intro
Why do people get kicked out (aka “ikhraj”) of the Ahmadiyya Movement and does this contradict their public narrative of persecution?
In 2026, we have the historic case of Safia (on TikTok as @truthsearcher786) brewing in Sweden. Safia is alleging that she is suing the Ahmadiyya jamaat in Sweden for illegally removing her from membership of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Sweden. Safia is 60 years old plus and was an immigrant to Canada about 20 years ago. She is currently living in Sweden and is being persecuted by the Ahmadiyya Jamaat therein. Safia says that she was never even given a reason for “ikhraj” and this is illegal in Sweden.
In 1905, MGA argued that he doesn’t have to show any accounts of any money collected to anyone and if anyone asks as such, they will be shunned (Al-Hakm, March 21, 1905). MGA also said that “It is the duty of all my followers to remit some amount out of their earnings. After this announcement, we shall wait for three months. We shall remove from the list of devotees the name of anyone who does not remit a portion of his earnings during these three months”

In 1913, the Al-Fazl of Dec-3-1913 reported that if an Ahmadi doesn’t pay chanda for 3 months, he will not remain in the Ahmadiyya jamaat (See this video).
In 2010, there were mass expulsions in the USA Jamaat via Mirza Maghfoor Ahmad. A letter went out to all the Ahmadiyya Jamaats in the USA about a wedding in Virginia, which occurred on the Thanksgiving weekend in 2010. Children of distinguished families, descendants of Sahabiyan-e Masieh Mou’oud, were married. The marriage / Walima / Mehndi ceremonies included happenings of dancing, mixed gender gathering etc. These are aspects repeatedly emphasized as wrong for Ahmadies by Hadrat Khalifatul Masieh Al-Khamis as well as Khulafa before him. As a result of the above happening, disciplinary actions have been taken which should be announced at a monthly Jama’at meeting as well as at Juma. 12 names were announced (See the scan).
In 2011 (Feb-4)(28:27 time stamp and 31:55), Mirza Masroor Ahmad mentioned how he kicked some Ahmadi’s out of Ahmadiyya for attending a wedding wherein lewd behavior was happening. Mirza Masroor Ahmad took disciplinary action against the people. Some among them did not have much religious knowledge and were not much aware of the traditions of the Community, although this is not an excuse. However, some among them were those who have religious knowledge, serve the Community and know the traditions and teachings of the Community. They too participated in the wedding and showed weakness and let alone prevent what was bad, they sat and observed all the absurdities. Rather than practice ‘forbids evil’ they became part of it. Later on, they wrote Mirza Masroor Ahmad that they had participated to reform others. This was strange reformation that neither was attention drawn to prevent what was bad, nor was good counselled. In the incidence many people were involved and it was submitted to Mirza Masroor Ahmad that as many people were involved it may create anxiety in the Jama’at. Mirza Masroor Ahmad responded to them that disciplinary action will be taken, regardless of anxiety in the Jama’at and if some people succumb and leave, they may leave, Mirza Masroor Ahmad did not care. Mirza Masroor Ahmad has said it before, as have other Khulafa, that if such weddings and functions are taking place in Ahmadi families, Ahmadis should simply leave, otherwise, it is cowardice and is tantamount to aiding the bad practice. In 2012, Mufti Mubasher Kahloon tells Ahmadi’s how to boycott and persecute Ex-Ahmadi’s (see on facebook)(See on TikTok and Twitter). Maulvi Mubasher Kahloon alleged that Mirza Masroor Ahmad said the same on 9-2-2005 while in Germany (starts at 28:15) and 39:16 and 41:19 specifically, Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that Ex-Ahmadi’s are invited to different parties. And this is wrong! Mirza Masroor Ahmad discusses sitting down and having food with someone has been given a “Tazeer” (warning), by the Ahmadiyya Jamaat. Mirza Masroor Ahmad also talks about those who refuse to abide by a decision by the Khalifa. At 45:58, Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that even the Ahmadiyya Qadha can make mistakes.
In 2021 (Feb), we intercepted an official letter dated, Feb 12th, 2021, wherein a member of the Mirza family, Mrs. Amtul Wakeel Ahmad has been kicked out of Ahmadiyya for refusing to listen to the Ahmadiyya internal court system. Her husband (Mirza Mahmood Ahmad) seems to have quit Ahmadiyya soon thereafter. She is the daughter of Mirza Rafiq Ahmad (listen to AK Shaikh’s explanation herein, at the 5:00 mark). In fact, Ak Shaikh interviewed Mirza Rafiq Ahmad many years ago and he asked for 50,000 dollars for inside information on the Mirza family.
In 2021 (May), in the Seattle Jamaat, (see their twitter account here) which is very small, barely 400 men, women and children. Nevertheless, the member codes were also given. The father seems to be member code 29755, and he seems to have paid and/or willfully supported his 3 children as they married outside of the Jamaat with Muslims or non-Muslims. His daughter seems to be mentioned last, she lives in south Virginia.
