Who is Kalimullah Khan?

Intro
In 1938, Kalimullah Khan is born. He seems to have been born in Hyderabad and moved around with his family to Qadian, Amritsar, Delhi and Rampur (See this article about the Ahmed family of Bowie, Maryland). He is the first cousin of Anwar Mahmood Khan of the LA area.

In 1947, Kalimullah Khan seems to have migrated from Qadian to Lahore (See this article about the Ahmed family of Bowie, Maryland).

In 1968, his daughter, Nabeela Khan is born.

In the 1970’s, per his son-in-law (Shukoor Ahmed), Kalimullah Khan moved to the USA from Pakistan, it is unclear how he got a visa. His paternal grandfather was Maulana Zulfiqar Ali Khan (from Rampur). His father was Professor Habibullah Khan (See “Ansaruddin” of Jan-Feb-2007).

He lived in the state of Maryland from the 1980’s until at least 2025.

In 1985, 18-year-old Pakistani-American Nabeela made her first visit to India to meet her father’s relatives. Her father had migrated from Hyderabad to Pakistan just after Partition, and then with his Punjabi wife to USA in the early 1970s, where they set about raising their four daughters. Nabeela is the eldest (See this article about the Ahmed family of Bowie, Maryland).

In the 1990’s, he published Kalam-e-Gauhar, his collection of poetry, published by Kalimullah Khan Sahib.

In 2025, he travelled — through Islamabad, Lahore, Rabwah, Qadian, Amritsar, Delhi, Rampur, and Hyderabad for about 30 days, Shukoor Ahmed accompanied him.
