Intro
Baitul Futuh is a temple complex of the Ahmadiyya Community in the UK (AMAUK), situated in Morden, London. It is one of the largest temple complexes in Europe. Completed in 2003 at a cost of £15 million. On 26 September 2015, a major fire broke out at the administrative side of the temple complex. On 4 March 2023 after 8 years following a costly rebuild of about $24 million, bringing the total value of the property at roughly 35 million pounds. All of this seems to have been paid off by the AMAUK.
In 2023, there is still a Baitul Futuh Mosque Fund (See page 36) which ended in 2023, however, before it ended, 31 million pounds were paid to close it out? It’s unclear where this money came from. Baitul Futuh is also listed as an asset worth 36 million pounds (see page 40).
