Ever since i was a child in California, I always suspected most Ahmadis to be Gay. I don’t have a problem with this at all, I grew up in the SF-Bay-Area, I am accustomed to seeing and working with the LGBT community. However, in Ahmadiyya, homosexual behavior has always seemed to be a norm behind closed doors, on the surface however, Ahmadis have rejected this behavior. Nonetheless, I have found some research work on this topic that I would like to share. It is as follows:
Noorudin from one of his autobiographies, “Mirqatul-Yaqeen”
MOLVI NOORUDDIN FACILITATES HOMOSEXUAL
MIRQATUL YAQEEN PAGE NO 80/81.
“””ONE OF MY STUDENT FRIENDS GOT LAZY IN HIS STUDIES WHEN I ASKED HIM THE REASON, HE SAID I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH A BEAUTIFUL BOY AND I CAN,T LIVE WITHOUT SEEING HIM AND HAVING HIS ONE GLIMPSE IS DIFFICULT QUITE OFTEN. SO IT HAS BEEN HARD TO CONCENTRATE ON STUDIES. HEARING THIS, I TOOK A BOLD STEP, ACCOMPANIED HIM TO THE BOY (HIS BELOVED).I SAID TO THE BOY THAT MY FRIEND HAS FALLEN IN LOVE WITH YOU AND DUE TO WHICH HE CAN,T CONCENTRATE ON HIS STUDIES. AS A RESULT OF WHICH HIS STUDIES ARE SUFFERING. SO I REQUEST YOU TO ALLOW HIM TO COME TO YOUR SHOP DAILY AFTER ASR PRAYER. HE WILL STAY AT YOUR SHOP TILL MAGHRIB PRAYER . THIS DARING ACTION OF MINE, SURPRISED THE POOR BOY AND HE AGREED TO IT. SO WHOEVER DO SOMETHING FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH, ALLAH PUT HIS BLESSING IN IT.”””
Noorudin was in Rampur. Rampur at that time was an independent princely state and now it is a part of UP state of India , Noorudin was there from age 27-30, See the book by Zaf Khan, page 11. He was apparently open to men falling in love with other men, he even facilitated one-such encounter. Further, Noorudin and the other english biography on Noorudin’s life seems to have purposely left out this important story.
Was MGA also Gay?
As we all know, MGA had male and female private attendants. One such story tells us as follows:
“”””When the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) spoke or delivered lecture he had the habit of motioning his hand towards his thighs. When he moved his hand in this manner Maulawi Yar Muhammad Sahib jumped up and came close to him. When asked why he did so he would say the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) had gestured him to come close to him. Thus was his obsessive love for the Promised Messiah that he even considered his reflex actions to mean a beckoning gesture. We claim to love God but in spite of His clear declaration to: ‘come to Prayer and come to prosperity’ we do not pay attention! Each Ahmadi should try and respond to God’s call like ardent devotees and jump up in obeisance. Its school holidays now and children bring along their parents [to the mosque], later attendance lessens. This is a reminder. May God enable us to safeguard and establish our Salat!”””.
In a Friday sermon delivered by Mirza Masroor Ahmad on 8-7-2015. Also see this essay: https://ahmadiyyafactcheckblog.wordpress.com/2017/03/03/mirza-ghulam-ahmad-got-stroked-during-salaat/
It seems that MGA had many boy-friends who would go crazy whenever they saw MGA in public.
Was Mahmud Ahmad gay?
Bashir Ahmad Misri was the famous whistle-blower who called out Mahmud Ahmad and the homosexual behaviors of his and his friends at Qadian. You can read that here. http://wiki.qern.org/ahmadiyya/ahmadiyya-as-a-cult/prominent-people-who-left-the-cult/bashir-ahmad-masri
How Gay is Rabwah in 2017?
Nowadays, it is all under the radar, there are many Ahmadis who are Gay, the inner circle of the Khalifa is tight-lipped these days, however, per my experiences in Rabwah in 2003 and 2004, I am sure that homosexuality has an underground in Rabwah.
