Intro
Per the Torah and Quran, the prophet Enoch (as) in the Quran in Idris (as), was physically raised up (raffa) to heaven before he died, he also died in heaven. In the Torah, the text of the Book of Genesis says Enoch lived 365 years before he was taken by God. The text reads that Enoch “walked with God: and he was no more; for God took him” (Gen 5:21–24), which some Christians interpret as Enoch’s entering Heaven alive. It should be noted that MGA also denied the meanings of Rafa’a in 4:158.
The Quran contains two references to Idris; in Surah Al-Anbiya (The Prophets) verse number 85, and in Surah Maryam (Mary) verses 56–57:
—(The Prophets, 21:85): “And the same blessing was bestowed upon Ismail and Idris and Zul-Kifl, because they all practised fortitude.”
—(Mary 19:56–57): “And remember Idris in the Book; he was indeed very truthful, a Prophet. And We lifted (RAFFA) him to a lofty station”. (19:58 in the Qadiani Quran).
The ROR of June-July-1940 also mentioned Idris (as) and MGA’s book, “Taudih-e-Maram” or “Elucidation of Objectives”.

What did MGA write about Idris (as) and his RAFFA?
MGA barely mentioned the prophet Idris (as) in his writings. In Izala Auham, he simply argues that it is impossible to leave from heaven, since 15:48 (15:49 in the Ahmadi Quran) claims as such, however, 15:49 is talking about Muslims in general, not rare incidents of prophets going in and out of heaven. MGA also rejected the physicality of the Miraaj in this same book. Thus, as MGA claimed to be the second coming of Esa (as) he denied that heaven could be ever exited. However, Idris (as) never exited heaven per the Torah, per the Quran, Muhammad (Saw) entered and exited, and per the Quran (4:158-159), Esa (as) entered heaven, and will exit heaven to return to Earth.

MGA says that in the hadith and previous scriptures and historical evidence it is stated that 2 people ascended to heaven, Idris (as) and Eisa (as).

“””That Jesus, son of Mary, will appear in the world by way of transmigration of souls is the worst and most shameful of notions. Those who believe in the transmigration of souls, believe that only an impure person would return to this life, but that those who leave the world, having completed all stages of spiritual perfection, would stay in the house of salvation for a long time. Moreover, according to our belief, God Almighty has promised that those who are admitted to heaven would never be expelled therefrom. It surprises us as to why our divines would want to bring Jesus out of paradise. They relate the tale that Enoch, with the permission of the angel of death, stepped into paradise, and when the angel asked him to come out he refused to do so and recited the verse:
‘…Nor shall they ever be ejected therefrom.’—Al-Hijr, 15:49 (15:48 in the regular Quran)
still they assert that Jesus will return to earth from heaven. Would he not be entitled to benefit from this verse? Is this verse to be considered abrogated in reference to him?””””

“Jesus in India” (1908), wherein MGA argues how there is:
“a prophecy of the Prophet Idris (Enoch), which says that the ten tribes of Israel who were taken prisoner, escaped from captivity and took refuge in the territory called Arsarah which appears to be another name of the area known as Hazara today, part of the region being called Ghor.”

“””They deceive people with the guise of scholars, adorned in the splendour of their appearance and the beauty of their attire. However, to the discerning wise, they are mere whitewashed tombs. They possess naught but overgrown beards, bloated noses, frowned faces, corrupted hearts, sharp tongues, and rotted words. They accuse innocent people and declare Muslims as infidels.
Many of their characteristics resemble the barbaric, their deeds mimic the actions of fools, and they inflict pain with a ferocity surpassing that of the desert serpents and spears of wars. They claim to follow the morals of Idris [Enoch as], yet their actions resemble the character of Iblis [Satan].
In brief, their behaviour suggests they are not suited for this field; instead, they seem to be individuals gripped by weakness and laziness like women. They find contentment and reassurance in the lowly world, inclining daily into the valley of disobedience. With harsh tongues, they accuse others of sins and disobedience, while their own souls are tainted by the filth of disobedience.”””

MGA alleges that in Tafsir Fathul-Bayan, Nawab Siddiq Hassan Khan wrote in terms of 19:57 (19:58 in the Qadiani Quran) that Idris (as) was simply raised in status, not physically.

Mentioning Idris
Allah complimented Idris for being a truthful Prophet and He mentioned that he raised him to a high station. It has previously been mentioned that in the Sahih it is recorded that the Messenger of Allah passed by Idris on the night of the Isra (Night Journey) and he (Idris) was in the fourth heaven. Sufyan reported from Mansur that Mujahid said,
(And We raised him to a high station.) “This means the fourth heaven.” Al-Hasan and others said concerning Allah’s statement,
(And We raised him to a high station.) “This means Paradise.”

Some said: He was raised to the 6th heaven.”
