My Conversation With a Young Ahmadi Muslim From Peace Village (a big ahmadiyya neighbourhood in Canada) , I can provide original screenshots if you are interested. Just hit me up.

The convo:

Me – You actually live in Peace Village or just Vaughan?

Him – Peace Villiage

Me – How’s it like living there?

Him – Pre bad I won’t lie, can’t do anything there I always have to go to another neighbourhood (to meet friends)

Me – How come you can’t do anything there specifically?

Him – Uncles and all young kids live there and there’s a lot of gossip in the neighbourhood, you mess up just one time and everyone knows then they make a big deal out of it, it is like a poisoned community

Me – I thought they were all involved within the Jamaat and everything

Him – Yeah they are but the system there is terrible, everyone is forced into the Jamaat and stuff like no choice (referring to social pressure)

As a former Ahmadi this really shocked me, to see people living in the most religious area of Canada yet not interested in Ahmadiyya or Islam and feel like they are forced, there are a lot of stories in peace village like this.
