We have been tracking the final speech by the 2nd Khalifa. We know that after the 1956 Jalsa, he rarely came out of his home. This was the famous “Khilafat-i Haqqa Islamia”, wherein the Khalifa ex-communicated the sons of Noorudin. Nevertheless, we have posted snippets from Ahmadiyya sources wherein it seems that the Khalifa gave a Friday sermon on 1-3-1958 on Waqf-e-Jadid. Mirza Tahir Ahmad was made in-charge by his father, this was his first major dealing with the financials of the Ahmadiyya Movement. Since we posted this essay, the Tahir archive has objected and claimed that in 1960, the 2nd Khalifa gave a speech. This is still under review. There is another short one for 1959. Per Anwar ul Aloom, his final friday sermon was in 1959, see the scan in the below.
Friday Sermon, 3 January 1958
“These lands were reserved for us. It is our duty to work in these lands and follow the footsteps of Hazrat Ishmaelas … these lands are densely populated, but not with spirituality … I desire that the youth of the Jamaat should dedicate their lives for this noble task.”
“… the time when a murabi [missionary] could visit a region, spend a few hours and then go to the next region has passed. Now, our murabi would have to reach every house and every hut … We need people to live among the people from Karachi to Peshawar; they will do beneficial work for the people and will educate them on moral and spiritual value.”

You’re way off the mark here. You make this statement elsewhere as well. The public address made Hazrat Musleh Maud (Allah be pleased with him) was on the Jalsa of ’62/’63 and there are photographs of him and recordings of messages he delivered thereafter. The Jamaat literature contains an abundance of material pertaining to an active life several years after 1958.
