Intro
In 1894, via “Ai’na-i-Kamalat-i-Islam”, MGA attempts to explain that the prophecy says that the messiah will descend from the sky (most likely from Sahih Bukhari, via Abu Hurraira on 4:159), then MGA attempts to explain how it was fulfilled. MGA said that the spirit (ruh) of Jesus is in heaven/sky and Eisa (as) was told/shown the state of Christians today. MGA alleges that after Eisa (as) found out how Christians went astray, he immediately wanted to descend to Earth and even made the intention to do so. MGA alleges that instead of Eisa (as) descending, MGA was manifested.
On page-270, MGA says that there’s a Hadith that the leaders can only be of the Quraysh, which mga defines as imamat, khilafat and sultanate but the promised messiah is not from the Quraysh so we must treat them metaphorically.
