Intro
Ahmadi Maulvi’s were in Germany in the early 1920’s, these were both Lahori and Qadiani-Ahmadi’s. In fact, the Lahori-Ahmadi’s had the first Ahmadiyya temple built in 1922 and it is still standing, whereas the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s were forced to flee from Germany in the same era. The Qadiani’s also showed up in 1922, they sent Maulvi Mubarak Ali, from the UK in late 1922, and lasted for about 2 years. Malik Ghulam Farid also showed up in 1923 to help and also left in 1924. By 1924, the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s had totally given up in Germany and left.

Meanwhile, the Lahori-Ahmadi’s opened their temple in 1922 and Maulvi Sadr ud Din published a German translation of the Quran later in 1939. Maulvi Sadr ud Din was also their imam in 1922, he was the pioneer and got the famous Berlin Mosque aka Wilmersdorfer Moschee built. It is situated on Brienner Straße 7-8 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. It was designed by K. A. Hermann and was built between 1923 and 1925. Berlin Mosque, which has two 90 feet (27 m) tall minarets, was heavily damaged in World War II. The two minarets were rebuilt in 1999/2001. The foundation stone was laid on 6 August 1923 and the mosque was inaugurated officially on 26 April 1925. In 1925, Maulvi Sadr ud Din returned to Lahore, British-India.

This edition has 1 book by MGA: “The Teachings of Islam” aka “The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam”. 11 books by the Qadiani 2nd Khalifa, 2 by Mirza Bashir Ahmad, 3 by Zafrullah Khan, 1 book by Sufi M.R. Bengalee, 1 book by J.D. Shams, 1 book by Shaikh Nasir Ahmad, a book by Zahoor Ahmad Bajwa (missionary-in-charge in England) and 2 books from A.R. Dard. It reports how Zafrullah Khan (Judge at the International Court of Justice, ICJ) gave 2 speeches at an Islamic Center in Washington D.C. on Nov-10-1954 and Jan-13-1955, a summary of the 2 speeches is given (Part-2). They published a correction in terms of the new German translation of the Quran, they tell the world that the Lahori-Ahmadi’s made the first ever German translation of the Quran and it was via Maulana Sadr ud Din (who was a pioneer Lahori-Ahmadi missionary in Germany and eventually became the Global President of the Lahori-Ahmadi’s).
