Intro
In 2026 (Oct), on an episode of “This Week with Hujoor”, yet again, another Ahmadi asked Mirza Masroor Ahmad what he should do if some Ahmadi’s don’t want to be contacted anymore (See the clip on TikTok and Twitter 19:02 time stamp). These are Ahmadi’s from Ansarullah from the South East Region of the USA. They also added that they would like to create a separate list of Ahmadi’s that were inactive as such. The Ahmadi complained that having these Ahmadi’s are having a negative effect on the progress of their Jamaat’s. Mirza Masroor Ahmad told him to stop competing as such for those Almi awards. Mirza Masroor Ahmad said that if any Ahmadi calls himself an Ahmadi, they should be made part of the local Jamaat’s census. Mirza Masroor Ahmad said that it is irrelevant if they respond to emails/phone calls or if they attend the Ahmadiyya temple (even for Eid). The Ahmadi responded by saying that some Ahmadi’s don’t even come for Eid. The Ahmadi said that some Ahmadi’s even purposely change their phone numbers. Mirza Masroor Ahmad said to go to their house and ask their neighbors about them. Find them and ask them if they still call themselves an Ahmadi or not, if not, remove them from the census. Mirza Masror Ahmad said to find out why they don’t care, what are their grievances. Was it the local office bearers?
