Our friends in The Gambia are reporting that after a TRRC commission set up after the former President was defeated, he accused the Supreme Islamic Council of persecution of Ahmadis and recommended government to regulate it and even revise school curricula to make Islam more TOLERANT. The lead council was Essa Faal, an Ahmadi. Read our full entry on Ahmadiyya in The Gambia herein. This is interesting since the leading Imams had a conference here a fortnight ago and discussed Ahmadiyya, Imam Fatty was a major part of that and made a video wherein he explains how bad Ahmadi’s are. Further, Halimatou Dibba is unofficially working for the Ahmadiyya Movement in the Gambia as a Commissioner of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). Finally, remember, The Gambia is still an unofficial colony of the British commonwealth and thus, continues to support Ahmadiyya. In fact, the first ever Governor General was a Qadiani-Ahmadi named Farimang Mamadi Singhateh. In 2022, at the USA-Jalsa, Saikou Ceesay (Officer, Embassy of the Gambia) attended and even gave a speech.
