Intro
Ataul Mujeeb Rashid is a Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi who has been working as the Missionary-in-charge of Britain, and the Imam of the Fazl Mosque in London since 1983 and sub-ordinate Ameer. He is the son of Maulana Abul Ata Jalandhari famously known in the Ahmadiyya Community as Khalid-e-Ahmadiyyat. Ata-ul-Mujeeb Rashid is a grandson of Mian Imam-u-deen Sahib who accepted MGA in 1902. Ata-ul-Mujeeb Rashid was born in the village of Qadian on the 27th of August 1943. He is a 2nd generation Maulvi (employee) serving the Mirza family. His father’s (Maulana Abul Ata Jalandhari) family was so poor that they dropped off Maulana Abul Ata Jalandhari as a personal gift to the Khalifa.
He worked as a Qadiani-ahmadi Maulvi in London from 1970-1973. Then returned to Pakistan. From 1975 to 1983, Ataul Mujeeb Rashed served as a missionary in Japan. Then returned to Pakistan.
In 1983, he was again sent to the UK to work as a Maulvi, it was almost as-if Mirza Tahir Ahmad knew that he would moving to the UK via asylum and made this move ahead of time. Just before Mirza Tahir Ahmad arrived from Pakistan as he allegedly escaped persecution (Ord-XX), Maulvi Ataul Mujeeb Rashid gave a Friday sermon in late April-1984 and only 8 people were in attendance (via Maulvi Abdul Sami Khan). He was able to receive and welcome the 4th Khalifa (Mirza Tahir Ahmad), as subordinate Ameer of the UK, after which he was able to serve under the special instruction of Hudhoor for 19 years (until the 4th Khalifa died). In 1984, Maulvi Masud Ahmad Jehlumi (he was working as the “Wakil-ut-Tabshir”, this is the office that deals with all the foreign missions) was involved in the exodus of Mirza Tahir Ahmad from Pakistan and called Ataul Mujeeb Rashid (who was working in London) and told him to get ready to receive the 4th Qadiani Khalifa. He was given the opportunity to sit in with 4th Khalifa (Mirza Tahir Ahmad), in many question and answer sessions, especially Liqa Ma’a Al-Arab. He furthermore began many Peace Conferences in many different areas where he would also stay behind and do ground-work. He is a director at many Ahmadi owned companied in the UK, MUSLIM TELEVISION AHMADIYYA LIMITED (03123502) and was a director at some other companies.

He shows up to London as a Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi and deputy imam. Ata-ul-Mujeeb Rashid Sahib came to the England in 1970 and worked in capacity of a subordinate Missionary of Masjid Fazl London until 1973. These 3 years were spent in the (tarbiyyat) upbringing of the Jamaat members and conveying the message of Islam to British people. He gave many speeches in schools and Rotary clubs and allegedly even spoke many times in Speakers corner at Hyde Park in Central London. He served as the editor of the Ahmadiyya Bulletin, similarly he was assigned as board member for the Muslim Herald Magazine. He returned to Rabwah in 1973.

The Co-editors are, Imam Sharif Ahmad Bajwa, Hasan Hakeem, Dr. Basharat Ahmad Munir, Dr. Qazi Muhammad Barkatullah and Dr. M.M. Abbas. This magazine was published from the Dayton Mosque, 637 Randolph Street, Dayton, Ohio, 45408. The magazine reports on the 1973, USA-Jalsa, which was held on August-31-September 2, 1973, at Forest College, Lake Forest, Illinois. The missionary-in-charge of the USA Imam Sharif Ahmad Bajwa gave a speech. MGA’s famous grandson (Mirza Muzzafar Ahmad) was also there, he seems to have recently moved to the USA, he gave the inaugural address. Dr. Qazi Muhammad Barkatullah also gave a speech. A speech by Imam Sharif Ahmad Bajwa is given. A speech by Hasan Hakeem is also given, it seems that he visited West Africa and stayed at Ahmadiyya houses. Hasan Hakeem converted to Ahmadiyya in 1968 and by 1971, he travelled to Lagos, Nigeria with no money (first he went to Morocco, then Nigeria, then Ghana and finally Senegal. Hasan Hakeem lived at the Ahmadiyya mission on Idumagbo Ave in Lagos, Nigeria with his wife and didn’t have to pay rent. Maulvi Mian Muhammad Ibrahim (Missionary, Midwest circle) has an essay on the financial schemes of Mirza Nasir Ahmad, his tour of West Africa in 1970 is mentioned. Mirza (Brantfort) and M.M. Siddiq (Toronto). Mirza Nasir Ahmad demanded 790k from Tahrik-i-Jadeed on Nov-9-1973, with a deadline of Dec-31-1973. The magazine also reports on news from Rabwah, MKA-Pakistan held its annual convention (Nov 2-4-1973) wherein only 2200 Ahmadi’s attended. Maulvi Ataul Mujeeb Rashid was there and was appointed as the President of MKA-Pakistan. The “Nusrat Jehan Reserve Fund” is mentioned again. Maulvi Sharif Ahmad Bajwa is in the UK and getting new teeth, Imam Siddique is working in the USA in his absence. Maulvi Mian Muhammad Ibrahim is reported to have toured St. Louis on Nov-4-1973, Brother Munir Ahmad was the local Qadani Ameer, Rashid Ahmad was there too. Imam Siddique’s tabligh work was also mentioned. Dr. M. Yusuf Khan is mentioned. The office bearers of the Dayton jamaat of Qadiani’s are mentioned, Alhaji Abdur Rahim Zafar of Dayton was elected as the new Amir. The magazine reports that Eid was held on Oct-28-1973 and Maulvi Sharif Ahmad Bajwa gave the Eid Khutbah, it also reports on Eid in NY, how Maulvi Mian Muhammad Ibrahim held Eid in Dayton, and other centers of Qadiani activity also alleged to have held a celebration, i.e., Milwaukee, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Detroit.

1975–1983
From 1975 to 1983, Ataul Mujeeb Rashed served as a missionary in Japan. Methods adopted by Rashed included flier distribution, such as at the Hachiko exit of the Shibuya Station, and preaching over a loudspeaker, whilst driving a car printed with religious slogans. As advised by the caliph, and recommended by Rashed, the headquarters shifted to Nagoya, when a mission house was bought in the city in 1981 (Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosques Around The World – A Pictorical Presentation. problems confronting mankind today and their solution through a better understanding of the purpose of creation of life here and hereafter. Opinions expressed in this magazine may not necessarily be those of the London Mosque. The editor was M. Hashim Saeed and this was published under the watchful eye of Maulvi Ataul Mujeeb Rashed. The assistant editors were Mahood Gulzar and Kaleem Ahmad Waseem. The manager of the magazine was Muzaffar A. Khokhar.
