Intro
Bro Imtiaz talked about this in Feb-2025 (3:42:28 time stamp). In Aug-2025, Bashir Ain accidentally admits that Allah is above the Earth and has location (See the clip on TikTok and Twitter).

Ahmadi’s will argue for hours and hours and claim that Allah is everywhere. They argue that Allah is in the Heavens (Jannah and Samaa Wattay) and the Earth (ardh) simultaneously. They got this from MGA, since they deny 4:158 and thus were forced to say that Allah is everywhere, since 4:158 proves that Allah took Eisa (as) body and soul towards himself aka the Heavens (Jannah and Samaa Wattay).

Ironically, MGA even said Allah was in the the Heavens (Jannah and Samaa Wattay). In Tiryaqul-Qulub, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 15, page 499, MGA clearly claims that Allah is in the “Asmaan” (heavens). There are 5 additional references, See RK-3:180, RK-5:409, RK-5:268, RK-15:499 and RK-22:154.

In 1903, MGA said that Allah is above (3:43:46 time stamp)! In an article entitled, “The Meaning of Allah being in the Sky” (Khuda Taala Kay Asmaan may ohnay ka mafoom). MGA argues that per the Quran, Allah has attributed “above-ness” to himself and we cannot attribute down-ness to Allah (See Malfuzat-3, page 482-Urdu edition, Al-Hakam Vol. 7 Number 1, dated January 10, 1903, page 11).

In 1904, MGA got a revelation wherein he (MGA) was called the Arsh ([al-Badr, vol. 3, no. 16–17, April 24, May 1, 1904, p. 8], via Tadhkirah). He writes: “This word has been used because ‘Arsh [throne] is the perfect manifestation of God’s attributes of jamal [beauty] and jalal [majesty] and the Promised Messiah is the perfect manifestation of His attributes of beauty which are being displayed just now. This also goes with the Ahmadiyya argument (and Sir Syed) that Allah is everywhere, which is not true, in fact, check out the famous Shamsi debunking that line of argumentation herein.

In 1908, MGA and his team of writers argued that “Asmaan” is above us (See via Bro Imtiaz, 3:43:46 time stamp). In an article entitled, “Arsh Kee Haqiqat” (Reality of the Arsh). Allah is on his Arsh (throne). The throne is where the sphere of creation ended. It’s not a throne like the throne of Kings and etc. The Arsh of Allah is like a station (maqam) and it is above (ala). It is far and beyond, above and above (3:43:55). In conclusion, MGA is arguing that Allah is above his throne (arsh), in the sky, this throne and the sky is above! It is far beyond all of the stations. It exists where there is no interference of creation (See English Malfuzat-10-pages, 224-234
Al-Hakam, vol. 12, no. 21, p. 2–3, dated 22 March 1908).

Furthermore, it seems that MGA was silent on 67:16 and 67:17 (or I haven’t found the reference yet). In these verses, Allah clearly tells Muslims that he is in the heavens (asamaa-ee)(and thus above us). In the Qadiani-Ahmadi official 5-volume commentary of the Quran, Malik Ghulam Farid alleges that this only means that Allah’s wrath descends from heaven (asamaa-ee), and thus, Allah is not confined to the heavens (asamaa-ee).

In 1917, in Maulvi Muhammad Ali’s famous commentary of the Quran, he wrote that this verse is referring to the angels in heaven. This verse also connects to 4:158 and Allah raising Eisa (as) towards himself (Raf’a-hoo). The 2nd Qadiani-Ahmadi Khalifa didn’t write extended commentary on this verse in Tafseer-e-Kabeer, however, it seems that he did leave some notes in Tafeer-e-Sagheer (I haven’t found those yet).
