Intro
In 1892-1893, in MGA’s book, “Karamatus-Sadiqin” (1893)(See page 92), MGA accidentally said that when someone takes an oath, then, it has to be taken at face value by it’s apparent meaning and there is no taweel (interpretation or exemption), otherwise, what is the point on making an oath?
Muhammad (Saw) made an oath and said that Eisa (as) bin Maryam (as) would physically descend (see 4:159 and the famous hadith).
In 2025, Saleem Meer alleged that Umar (ra) swore on oath that Ibn Sayad was a Dajjal and wrong.
