Intro
In 1894, via “Hamamatul-Bushra”, MGA has said that Muhammad (saw) is the final prophet without exception.
In 1897-1898, MGA began arguing that a “Haqiqi” Nabi could not appear after Muhammad (Saw). Haqiqi means “in reality”, or “real” or “realistically speaking” (Kitab-ul-Bariyyah, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 13, page 218).
In a recent TikTok livestream (Oct-2025), Ahmadi’s can be heard arguing amongst themselves over the specific terminology of prophethood which was used by MGA, like Haqiqi Nabi and Ummati Nabi. Bro Imtiaz gave commentary herein. The issue is that Mirza Basheer uddin Mahmud Ahmad clearly wrote in Al-Qaulul Fasl, page 12)(As quoted in “Truth about the Split”, online edition, pages 196-197, https://www.alislam.org/library/books/Truth-about-the-Split.pdf).
At 35:17, an Ahmadi uncle (@favourite49) comes on and suggests that Ahmadi’s write a letter to huzoor about this confusion, i.e., Haqiqi Nabi or Ummati Nabi? The Ahmadi uncle vouches for “Tahir-Bhai” (Tahir Amjad) and announces to the world that he is a knowledgeable person who sits with other knowledgeable people. Further, his father and brothers have been murrabis and etc. It seems that Tahir Amjad holds the position that prophethood has ended and has offended other Ahmadi’s. The Ahmadi uncle adds that if there is a contradiction with something that the Qadiani-Ahmadi 2nd Khalifa wrote, then only a sitting Khalifa can solve the case. At 36:52, the Ahmadi guy (bombastic) admits to being confused about is MGA a Haqiqi Nabi or Ummati Nabi? At 37:34, the same Ahmadi admits that on many instances, an Ahmadi comes on and argues contrary to other Ahmadi’s, specifically, in terms of more prophets after MGA or not. They also played a clip wherein Mirza Tahir Ahmad called MGA an ummati nabi (43:28 timestamp) vs. the criticism of the Lahori-Ahmadi’s and was issuing weird challenges. The Lahori-Ahmadi’s have been arguing for 100+ years that MGA never called himself an “Ummati-Nabi”, which is accurate. MGA famously called himself an Ummati from one angle and a Nabi from another (See Haqiqatul Wahy, online english edition, page 37)(See Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya Vol. 5, online english edition, pages 403-404). Specifically, the phrase “haqiqi-nabi” is discussed (51:50 time stamp). At 57:00, an Ahmadi comes on and says that he wants to place this confusion in front of the Khalifa. The confusion is over the use of the word “haqiqi-nabi”. Is MGA is “Haqiqi-Nabi” or not, or in what sense? Interestingly, these common Ahmadi’s admitted to not having read any books and only heard arguments at ijtema’s and jalsa’s. At 1:01:51, an Ahmadi comes on and says that MGA claimed to be a “ghair-haqiqi-nabi” and to say otherwise is incorrect.
