Intro
Adam (as) was created in heaven and so was his wife (see Chapter 2:38 of the Quran and 7:24 and 7:25). They were then ejected from heaven and physically sent to Earth.
In terms of claiming to be the final Adam (as)(naozobillah). MGA had been claiming to be the second coming of Adam (as) as early as “Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya” V-4 (see page 64) and even quoted 25:54 (25:55 in the Qadiani Quran). On page 368 MGA fabricates revelations from his God, which seem to be similar to 2:29 (2:30 in the Qadiani Quran) and gives out the impression that he has been told that he (MGA) is a Khalifa, just like Adam (as) was called a Khalifa in 2:29 (2:30 in the Qadiani Quran). MGA clarifies that his Khilafat is only spiritual, not governmental. MGA even says that Governmental Khilafat can only be given to the Quraish. MGA says, “this is a grand prophecy predicting the establishment of a spiritual movement at a time when no sign of this movement exists”. MGA then quotes a few words from 2:35 (2:36 in the Qadiani Quran) then fabricated a revelation to himself which gives the impression that MGA was Adam (as)(naozobillah), Maryam (as)(naozobillah) and Ahmad (saw)(this refers to Muhammad [saw]) and even alleged that Allah breathed his “Ruh-Al-Sadiq” (spirit of Truth) into himself (MGA) via revelation.
As we all know, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad basically stole 90% of his beliefs from Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. In MGA’s debate vs. Athim (1893), which was made into a book entitled, “Holy War”, on pages 55-56, Athim alleges that even Sir Syed Ahmad Khan made the argument that there were additional Adam’s (as) before the Adam (as) in the Quran (astagfarullah).
Historically, in 1898, in Kitab ul Barriya, MGA was claiming that he was born with a twin sister, however, this seems to be a lie. It seems that MGA was creating a back story. About 10 years later, MGA was asserting that Adam (as) was created as a twin (see the full quote in the below).
In 1899-1902, and via Tiryaq ul Qulub (see the scans in the below), MGA argued that Adam (as) was born a twin with Eve (naozobillah).
In 1899-1902 era, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad called himself the Final Adam (as) to be born on this earth and the final Mahdi (See Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 15, p. 477-479, Tiryaqul-Qulub). This book was discussed heavily during the split, in fact, the 2nd Qadiani-Ahmadi Khalifa argued in “Qaul al Fasl” (Jan-1915) that all books of MGA published before Tiryaqul-Qulub were abrogated in terms of prophethood.
in 1902, via Tohfah Golarhviyyah, MGA blamed Eve (aka Hawwa or Hawa), and accused her of committing 4 sins. Eve=Ḥawwāʾ (حَوَّاء) and is referred to as the “mother of mankind”. The Qur’an doesn’t mention her by name, but it does say that Adam was created with a “mate” who was made from the same nature and soul as him (See 4:1 of the Quran).
In 1907, in MGA’s famous book, Haqiqatul Wahi (see page 254 and 569, online English Edition), MGA claimed that Adam (as) was born as a twin. This belief is totally unislamic. In the Quran, 2:35-36, proves that Adam (as) was living in Jannah (heaven) with Allah. Allah then created Eve. Allah then sent them both to Earth, through the 7 heavens.
In May of 1908, while in Lahore, MGA is questioned by Wragge about his belief about Adam (as) being the first human as described in the Bible. MGA affirms that he doesn’t believe in the Torah also, and says that God wasn’t idle in a rude way. MGA says the Earth is more than 6000-7000 years old. MGA says that the human race existed before this Adam (as). MGA also disagreed with evolution, humans evolving from monkeys (See Malfuzat-10, pages 545-557, Al-Hakam, vol. 12, no. 35, p. 4–7, dated 30 May 1908).
In 1947, with the publishing of Tafsir-e-Kabeer also came the introduction to that commentary wherein the Khalifa (Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad) wrote that before Adam (as) there were humans already on the planet (in 1985, this intro was turned into a separate book, “Introduction to The Study of the Holy Quran and published from the UK, you can view the 2016 online english edition herein). He continued and claimed that the humans who were already on the planet were Jinn, since they hadn’t evolved fully. This is blasphemy and totally against Islam. Obviously, the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s were indirectly agreeing with the theory of evolution (Darwinism). They took all of this from Sir Syed Ahmad Khan who most likely denied the traditional creation story in Islam.”
Interestingly, in 1988, and via Malik Ghulam Farid‘s famous 5-volume commentary (published posthumously), under verse 2:30 (this is a link to the 2018 edition). Ahmadi author’s purposely took a dream of Ibn Arabi out of context to suit their own desires. They quotes the Futuhat 3:607 and stated that Ibn Arabi saw a dream and that there were additional Adam (as)’s, however, this didn’t mean before Adam (as), it meant after Adam (as).

“”We would further like to show that multiplicity in unity is present in the Old Testament. Had it not been present, the Jews could have been considered to be right; however, because this matter is present there, they should have no excuse. I shall present two cases by way of example: First of all, it is stated in Genesis 1:26 و یومر الوھیم نعشا آدام سلمنوقد میتونو in Hebrew, that is to say, Elohim God said, ‘Let us make Adam in our images, and after our likenesses.’ Second, in Genesis 3:22 it is written that Jehovah Elohim said, ‘Behold, in knowing good and evil, the man has become like one of us.’ In this verse, the phrase that is translated as has become like one of
us (in Hebrew it is written کا حد ممنو ), seeing the first person including others form, the Jews took the meaning that in this situation God Almighty included the angels with Him. And Sir Syed Ahmad Khan Bahadur has written that the others in this phrase refers to that class of Adams before the commonly known Adam, who were destroyed because of their sins, and that in the words لو ممنو , it is not the ‘first person including others’ but rather the ‘third person plural’ form that is meant. The purpose of both these people being that the teaching of multiplicity in Unity should thus be prevented from being proven.”””

The Deeper Reality in My Being Named Adam
It is Adam alone who was born without the agency of sperm. In this relation, there is a revelation of mine which is as follows:
I decided to appoint a vicegerent in this age and so, I created this Adam. This hints to the fact that he would have no need to swear an oath of allegiance to anyone else or follow some other spiritual guide. On the contrary, just as God created Adam with His hand of beauty and majesty, this Vicegerent of Allah would be taught by Him and would swear allegiance to Him, as it were. This is why Allah Almighty has kept me away from such paths that are opposed to the precepts of prophethood. Now, it is true that one must develop….”

Bear in mind that European philosophy is full of misguidance and leads a person to ruin. In the same manner, to claim that there was no era in time in which humans were created from clay is wrong. I do not believe in the eternity of species at all. I do believe, however, that Allah the Exalted has never ceased being the Creator; the world has withered away into non-existence many times and then been recreated anew; this is nothing unusual. When death occurs in individual cases, why should it not be a possibility that the whole of existence will taste of death? Even the Hindus and Greeks believe in the Great Reckoning. This is why God has given the name Adam to the Promised Messiah, who is the Seal of the Caliphs. As such, it is recorded in Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya:

wrongdoing because in another instance, God Almighty Himself states:

This was the very reason that affliction befell Adam as. At the time, he as if, became a greater well-wisher than God Himself. Similarly, these people present the same everlasting life that was promised by Satan. Therefore, the Holy Quran begins with this and ends with this. The secret in this was to show that there was an Adam destined to be raised in the latter days as well. In the beginning of the Holy Quran, Surah Fatihah has been brought to a close with the words:
وََلََا اضَّلَآ لِّ یِنََ 1 And those who have not gone astray.
Even
Adam was born on the sixth day. In the estimation of God one day is equal to one
thousand years, so six days would equal six thousand years. Also, Adam was born
towards the end of the sixth day, so the Seal of the Caliphs also appeared towards
the end of the sixth millennium. The seventh millennium is the time for battle.

There were People Created before Adam
The Aryah asked that according to Islam, the world began with Adam; that is, 6,000 years ago. The Promised Messiah as said:
This is wrong. Islam and the Holy Quran do not teach that the world has existed for 6,000 years. This is the belief of the Christians, but in the Holy Quran, God Almighty has said about Adam as:
اِنِّيْاِنِّيْ جَاعِلٌجَاعِلٌ فِيفِي الْاَرْضِالْاَرْضِ خَلِيْفَةًخَلِيْفَةً1
Now, it is obvious that a Khalifah comes after someone and is his successor, which proves that there were people created before Adam as. Adam became his replacement and successor.
Refutation of Aryah Beliefs
I cannot accept that man keeps becoming a dog, a cat, and a pig again and again. Nor can I accept that a person will live in Hell forever. God is Merciful and Munificent. The God I know forgives the sins of a person and has mercy on him who comes to Him with a pure heart for true reconciliation. Whoever makes a complete sacrifice and places his life in the hands of God, God certainly accepts him. The belief of becoming a monkey and a pig breaks a person’s back. The meaning of being a Muslim is that a person should give up all errors, practical and doctrinal”””.

From Badr: It has been accepted that in the things that animals have in common with humans, they cannot derive that [same] pleasure [as derived by human beings]. Similarly, the child does not have that same degree of feeling as an adult. But even if we accept that he does in fact suffer and he does not have any parents to whom that suffering can be attributed, even then transmigration cannot be argued from it, because being pure and innocent cannot make one entitled to [Divine] grace. Suffering is a source of reward for the sons of Adam, and the other realm is right there and is the realm of eternal peace and comfort, and it is born from this world only through death. A man closes his eyes here and opens them in the other. There is a reward for children in the other world”””.

After this, the second account is of Jesus, which should have been something more significant, and that was, he was born without a father, and this matter is indeed extraordinary. If after Yahya—who was born of a barren woman—mention was made of a child born with a father, then what would have been so extraordinary about that? The Christians who make him God on account of his fatherless birth, are refuted elsewhere:
اِنَّاِنَّ مَثَلَمَثَلَ عِيْسٰىعِيْسٰى عِنْدَعِنْدَ اللّٰهِاللّٰهِ كَمَثَلِكَمَثَلِ اٰدَمَاٰدَمَ 1

The Promised Messiah as said:
Eventually, one day, this world shall come to an end, and everyone will perish, and the time of its annihilation seems to be after seven thousand years according to the age of the world. I make this calculation from the time of Hadrat Adam, but this does not mean that no human existed or that the world did not exist before it, rather the calculation is made from a specific initial progenitor whose name was Adam. Just as in the beginning there was that Adam, similarly there is an Adam at the end. It is proven from the noble hadith that the era of the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was as if the time of ‘Asr in the day of the age of this world.2 If that was the time of ‘Asr then it can be itself estimated how much time is remaining now. The very same is proven from the Gospel. This shows that a short time is left in the age of the world.

Being Fatherless is Proven from the Quran
A person’s question was presented whether it was necessary to accept Jesus to be born without a father. The Promised Messiah as responded: It is proven so from the Holy Quran, and we believe in the Holy Quran. Additionally, I also do not find any argument against it in the laws of nature as hundreds of insects and bugs are created who do not have a father or a mother. The place where this is mentioned in the Holy Quran, God Almighty has presented two wondrous examples of His power. First is the mention of Hadrat Zakariyya as [Zechariah] that God bestowed a son to him in old age while his wife was barren as well. Along with this is the mention of this second incident that is an example of another wonderful power of God Almighty. What harm arises in accepting this? Reading the Holy Quran it is proven that Jesus was fatherless and there cannot be any objection against it. God Almighty has stated كَمَثَلِكَمَثَلِ اٰدَمَاٰدَمَ which also clarifies that this is a wonder of nature for which the example of Adam had to be mentioned.”””

So, Allah be praised and thanked that I am the fulfilment of this prophecy of the mystics. I, too, was born a twin at dawn on a Friday with the sole difference that the first to be born was a girl whose name was Jannat—and she went to Jannat [Paradise] after a few days and after her I was born. Sheikh Muhy-ud-Din ibn-e-‘Arabi has recorded this prophecy in his book Fusus, and has also written that he [the Promised Messiah] would be of Chinese descent. In any case, these three prophesies reinforce one another. Because they have been fulfilled, they have acquired the status of certainty that no sensible person can deny.””
Page 569
“””It was, therefore, necessary that the like of Adam who, in other words is referred to as the Promised Messiah, should be born at the end of the sixth millennium which is symbolized by Friday, the day on which Adam was born. So was I brought into being by God. Thus, according to all this, I was born in the sixth millennium. And this is a strange coincidence that I was born on a Friday according to the calendar in use. Also, just as Adams [the progenitors] were born male
and female, so was I born as a twin. A girl was with me who was born first and then I was born after her. These are the facts of my life which provide the seeker after truth with clear evidence. In addition, there are thousands of other Signs some of which have already been recorded by
way of illustration.””

Question No 4—God made Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him, born without a father.
The Promised Messiah said:
If a fatherless birth is an argument for Divinity and Sonship, then Prophet Adam, peace be upon him, is more deserving of it as he has neither a mother nor a father. God says:
And the matter to ponder over is that since there was a possibility for people to be deceived due to the fatherless birth of Prophet Jesus as, God had, therefore, established an example from before by having Prophet Adam, peace be upon him, born without a mother and a father. However, if the notion of Jesus as ascending to the heaven is accepted as authentic, then Allah the Exalted ought to have established an example for this as well. Now tell me, if God did not present any example for the ascension to heaven, then this in itself proves that the narration of Jesus as ascending to heaven is an absolute fabrication.
When the disbelievers asked our Noble Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him:
اَوْاَوْ تَرْقٰىتَرْقٰى فِيفِي السَّمَآءِالسَّمَآءِ2 Meaning that, ascend to heaven; God gave this reply that man cannot ascend to heaven, as He said:
If man could ascend to heaven, then the disbelievers should have presented a parallel.
It is regrettable that these people are determined to support the Christian priests without reason. When they say that according to the Holy Quran, man cannot ascend to the heavens, but Jesus, peace be upon him, did; hence, he was God, they are left speechless. They do not understand this much that Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him, was a weak and humble man, and a Messenger of God. He was not an iota more than this. If he were God then the burden of proof lies with the Christians that they must present a sun, moon, or earth that he created. That helpless being could not even create a mosquito. It is written clearly in the Holy Quran that he was a servant. He was in need of eating, drinking, and other necessities and died like the other Prophets”””.

“””The first trial that befell Adam was also due to his wife. Also, it appears from the Torah that the real reason behind Bal’am losing his faith in the confrontation with Moses as, was that his wife had been lured by the king by showing her some ornaments, who then cajoled Bal’am to pray against Moses as. Thus, many a time, one suffers hardships and trials because of them. Therefore, full attention should be paid to their reformation, and one should continually pray for them…..””

These foolish friends of Islam fail to understand that God is so Jealous for His Honour that He intends to uproot and eliminate these false beliefs. He will not tolerate such idolatrous beliefs even for one moment. Those who ponder and study the Holy Quran know quite well the variety of strategies God has employed to crush falsehood. You see, the Christians had imagined the fatherless birth of Jesus as to be the proof of his ‘Divinity’. God humiliated and frustrated them by presenting the birth of Adam as as a counter argument, thus proving the falsity of their claim:
اِنَّاِنَّ مَثَلَمَثَلَ عِيْسٰىعِيْسٰى عِنْدَعِنْدَ اللّٰهِاللّٰهِ كَمَثَلِكَمَثَلِ اٰدَمَاٰدَمَ 1
The Messiah as had no father but Adam as had neither father nor mother, and thus, holds greater right to ‘Divinity’ because here there was neither father nor mother—both were missing. So remember it well, that if Jesus as had, in fact, risen to Heaven with his physical body, and God had accepted this argument of theirs, He would have also decimated this spurious argument by adducing some precedent. But God has rejected this argument by denying its factual basis and has responded by saying that he [ Jesus as] has died, and thus, what meaning can his going [bodily] to Heaven have?______________________________________________________________________________________________

The Promised Messiah as said:
Replies are of two types. One confirmatory and the other accusatory. Allah the Exalted has also made use of accusatory replies in certain instances. These inform the critic of the weakness of his own religion. Thus, when the Christians claimed that Jesus as is the Son of God and its proof is that he was born of the Virgin Mary, Allah the Exalted replied by saying:
اِنَّاِنَّ مَثَلَمَثَلَ عِيْسٰىعِيْسٰى عِنْدَعِنْدَ اللّٰهِاللّٰهِ كَمَثَلِكَمَثَلِ اٰدَمَاٰدَمَ 2

Question: It is written in the Bible that Adam or let it be said thus, the first human being, was born in Jehun Sehun and that that was his homeland. So then are the people in different parts
of the world such as America and Australia etc., the progeny of that Adam?
Answer: The Promised Messiah as said:
I do not believe this, nor do I follow the Torah in this matter that this world had its beginning six or seven thousand years ago with the birth of Adam, and that there was nothing before that as if God was idle. Nor do I propose that the entire human race which is present in different regions of the world at this time, is the progeny of that same last Adam. I believe that the human race was present even before this Adam as is evident from the words of the Holy Quran. God said that:
I am about to appoint a vicegerent in the earth (Surah al-Baqarah, 2:31).
Khalifah means ‘Successor’. From this it becomes clear that the creation existed even before Adam. Therefore, I cannot say if people of America and Australia etc. are from the progeny of
this last Adam or from the progeny of some other Adam. A saying of Hazrat Muhy-ud-Din ibn Arabi relates very much to your question. He writes [about a vision] that: ‘I went for Hajj and there I met a person who I thought was Adam. I asked him if he, indeed, was Adam? He replied, “Which Adam you are asking about? There have been thousands of Adams.”’
Question: Do you believe in evolution? Meaning, do you believe that man has evolved from an inferior state to a superior state? It kept advancing first from being a snake and scorpion
etc. to become a monkey and then evolved from the monkey to become a human being. Moreover, when did the soul come into existence?
Answer: The Promised Messiah as said: I do not believe that man was a monkey at some point in time, but then, gradually, its tail came off and it also lost the fur, and he became human through successive steps. This is a claim and the burden of proof lies upon its claimant. He should bring forth a monkey that should gradually evolve into a human being.
How can I believe in such unsubstantiated stories and fables? I do believe that there have been many Adams. What we observe every day in the prevailing circumstances, is that a human being is born from a human being. No one has ever seen a man born from a monkey nor a monkey born from a man. This is a fictional story. A species is always born from its own species. God has put His law right in front of our eyes: a donkey comes from a donkey, a horse from a horse, and a monkey from a monkey. If someone claims otherwise that a human being is born from a monkey as well, he should present the proof for his claim. To assert that it could have happened, means nothing. Conjecture is not enough………”””

The Christians had seized upon one distinction of Jesus as that since he was born without a father, this was firm proof of his ‘Divinity’. And this was a weighty argument of theirs against the Muslims with which they used to deduce his ‘Divinity’ by proving a unique distinction in Jesus as. So Allah the Exalted silenced them with the rebuttal saying:
Surely, the case of Jesus with Allah is like the case of Adam (Surah Al-e-‘Imran, 3:60). [Publisher]
meaning that, if you present the miraculous birth of Jesus as as proof of his Divinity, then Adam should be God in the first place, as he had neither father nor mother. Therefore, you must first accept Adam to be a greater God, and only then may you present this argument for the Divinity of Jesus as. Thus, in this way Allah the Exalted refuted this argument of theirs. Accordingly, Allah the Exalted falsified their argument of the Messiah’s fatherless birth being proof of his ‘Divinity’ by presenting the example of Adam””.

Did MGA call Adam (as) the best of all creation? – ahmadiyyafactcheckblog
It seems that in the Al-Fazl of 1927 (See Al-Fazl Magazine Vol. 14 | 29th April 1927), some Qadiani-Ahmadi writers have written that not only is Muhammad (Saw) the best of all creation, but also Adam (as). This seems to be a huge issue, more on this soon.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
[Al-Fazl Magazine Vol. 14 | 29th April 1927]
there’s nothing unique about Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) being the “best of all creation” as Adam (ﷺ) too is the “best of all creation”, and since Qādiyānī khalifās consider the possibility that Mirzā Ghulām Aḥmad Qādiyānī could be better than earlier prophets, [which would entail that he could also be better than Adam (ﷺ)], then, by greater reasoning, Qādiyānī khalifās must also consider the possibility of Mirzā Ghulām Aḥmad Qādiyānī being better than Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)!
