Intro
Labour councillor Lubna Arshad was sworn in at a ceremony in Oxford Town Hall, during which the retiring lord mayor James Fry stepped down. Ms Arshad said it was the “honour of a lifetime” to serve in the city where she was born and raised. The term of office for the role is one year and the position can only be awarded to an elected councillor.

She seems to be the local councillor for Temple Cowley, however, it is unclear how she got elected. Was it a public vote or a an executive vote? Nevertheless, she joins a growing trend of Qadiani-Ahmadi politicians in the UK, Canada and the USA. Not to mention the sex scandal of Imran Ahmad Khan who is also in the UK. Other Qadiani-Ahmadi’s pushing the Qadiani political agenda in the UK are Lord Tariq and Karim Khan. In the past (1946), Even Justice Muhammad Munir told us that Zafrullah Khan purposely lost Gurdaspur district during partition. Zafrullah Khan started right after WW-1. In the USA, Amjad Khan, Qasim Rashid and Kareem Ahmad are working in a similar capacity.

Councillor Lubna Arshad was born and raised in Oxford and holds a degree in Computer Network Technologies from Manchester. With over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, Lubna’s passion for equality and fairness led her to be elected as a City Councillor in 2018. She initially represented Cowley Marsh and later served Temple Cowley due to electoral boundary changes.

“Her achievement is ground-breaking and represents significant progress towards diversity, inclusivity, and representation in leadership roles.”

She was elected as a city councillor in 2018, representing Cowley Marsh initially and later, due to electoral boundary changes, now serves the Temple Cowley ward.
