Intro
She appears in the history of #Ahmadiyya in 1926, the 2nd Khalifa (Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad), married her (See Fazl-e-Omar, online english edition, pages 220-221). From 1921 to 1926, the 2nd Khalifa married 3 times (in only 5 years), however, one of his wives (Amtul Hai, wife #2 had died in 1924) had died and he only had 3 wives in the early part of 1926, thus, he married Aziza Begum. It’s unclear how old Aziz Begum was in 1926, she seems to have been 12 years old, since the 2nd Khalifa claimed that in 1914, Abu Bakr Yousaf had inquired if the 2nd Khalifa was interested in taking another child bride.
Aziza Begum’s father is reported to have been a devoted Ahmadi, his name was Seth Abu Bakr (also spelled as Seth Abu Bakr Yusuf and Abu Bakr Yousaf) of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and living in Hyderabad-Deccan, Central India (from roughly 1870-1945) in Ahmadiyya history. Aziza Beghum’s brother was Mir Muhammad Saeed (also spelled Mir Muhammad Sa’id, he also lived in Hyderabad-Deccan, Central India and is alleged to have traveled to Saudi Arabia to conduct tabligh on behalf of the Ahmadiyya Movement.
Azizah Beghum and the 2nd Khalifa only had 2 sons, Mirza Wasim Ahmad and Mirza Naeem Ahmad, these were 2 kids out of 23 children that the 2nd Khalifa had, with his 7 wives. The whereabouts of their offspring is unknown, Mirza Wasim Ahmad lived in Qadian, India, so his children must also be there. Mirza Naeem is totally unknown.
