Intro
In 1932, Mirza Hanif Ahmad was born at Qadian to the 2nd Khalifa and his wife #4, Sarah Begum.
In 1933, his mother died mysteriously and thus, he never met his mom. His elder brother is the famous Mirza Rafi Ahmad (born in 1927), who contested the voting for Khilafat in 1965 and 1982. His only sister is Amatul Naseer Begum (born in 1930).
In 1947 (Aug-Sep), he moved to Lahore with the majority of the Mirza family during partition.
In 1948, he moved to Rabwah with the extended Mirza family. Ahmadiyya sources allege that among the offspring of the 2nd Khalifa, he had the greatest proficiency in Persian and was very well-read in terms of books of MGA His wife relates that he told her he had read the books, or most of them, twenty to twenty five times. He had extraordinary love for Qadian and in spite of bad health had been going there regularly for the past few years.
In the 1990’s, his son, Mirza Salman Ahmad was married to Attiya Tul Hadi Shaima Ahmad, daughter of Dr. Mir Daud Ahmad.
In 2014 (Feb-17), Mirza Hanif Ahmad died.

WIFE #4
Sarah Begum—married to her in 1925, she was dead by 1933, she seems to have died while giving birth, both the child and the mother died tragically. The Al-Hakam on twitter claims that in 1928, she passed an urdu literature exam. However, this is dubious and has no proof.

2. Amatul Naseer Begum, daughter, born in roughly late 1930, was 3 1/2 years old when her mother died.
3. Mirza Hanif Ahmad, son, born in 1932, died in 2014.

He was married in 1959 to Tahira Begum Sahiba (daughter of Maulvi Sayyid Zayn al’Abidin Waliullah Shah) and they had four children, 1 boy and 3 girls. Salman Ahmad Sahib, Amtul Momin Hina Sahiba, Meena Mubaraka Sahiba and Amtul Samee Sahiba.
His son, MIrza Salman Ahmad married Attiya-tul-Hadi Shaima Ahmad, she is the daughter of Dr. Mir Daud Ahmad by the 4th Khalifa in the late 1990’s.

In 1962 he went abroad to serve the Community and served as principal of secondary school in Sierra Leone till 1969. His wife relates that when in Sierra Leone he had the first ever science block built in an Ahmadiyya school in Bo City. He personally supervised the construction of the block.
