Intro
We all know that Sharif Odeh is the long running (20+ years, he is also on the executive committee when the Khalifa dies, he will be part of the process of electing a new Khalifa) Ameer of Ahmadiyya in Israel, Egypt and all Arab lands and maybe even Turkey. But we didn’t know the names of the Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi’s who lead the daily prayers at the Qadiani temple in Kababir, Haifa, Israel.

Nevertheless, the Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi’s who have been working in Israel are from India (not Pakistan), since Pakistani’s can’t easily get a visa for Israel. There seem to be 2 Maulvi’s. The missionary-in-charge is a Indian man, Shams ud Deen (Malabari), he seems to have been paired with an Arab apprentice, an Egyptian named Imaduddeen. These 3 are the top-3 Qadiani-Ahmadi officials in Kababir, Haifa, Israel.

Imaduddin Al-Misri, Missionary, Kababir Jamaat

Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Kababir was able to hold its 24th Jalsa Salana on 8and 9 July 2021.

Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Kababir had, in line with the tradition of the Jamaat of inviting local dignitaries to Jalsa Salana, invited people from all backgrounds to attend the Jalsa. The president, the prime minister, ministers, ambassadors of different countries, parliamentarians, the mayor of Haifa city and people from different walks of life, were invited to attend the Jalsa.

The president, on receiving the invitation, replied to Amir Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Kababir, saying that he would not be able to attend because he was very busy, as it would be his first day as the eleventh president of Israel. Moreover, the president did call Amir Sahib on the telephone on the second day of Jalsa to congratulate him and to convey his greetings to members of the Jamaat as well as all the guests.

This year, Jalsa programmes were divided into two days. The first day was dedicated to Hebrew-speaking guests, and the Arabic-speaking guests were invited to attend Jalsa on its second day.

Under the theme of وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمْ‭ ‬مِنْ‭ ‬بَعْدِ‭ ‬خَوْفِهِمْ‭ ‬أَمْنًا i.e. “And He will surely give them in exchange security and peace after their fear” (Surah al-Nur, Ch.24: V.56), many speeches were delivered. Amongst them were two speeches of Amir Sahib, through which he suggested the right way to establish brotherhood in the midst of religious differences and pointed out the great role played by Khilafat in establishing international peace.

Shamsuddin Sahib of Malabar, Missionary-in-Charge Kababir also delivered a speech about the sacrifices of sincere and loyal Arab Ahmadis.

This year’s Jalsa saw the attendance of 1,040 guests.

Einat Kalisch, Mayor of Haifa, said in a tweet:

“Yesterday I attended the annual conference of the Muslim Ahmadiyya Community, and as I feel every time I come here, I am very touched. We are so fortunate to have such a community in Haifa”.

Sheikh Muwaffaq Tarif, the leader of the Druze community in the Holy Land, said in his short address:

“I am so happy to be here with you and to attend your Jalsa. Masha-Allah your Jalsa is improving all the time. Now it is no more a Jalsa for Ahmadis only; rather, it became a Jalsa for all the people, especially those of them who love peace”.

Mr Zayid Falah, a judge, said in a short speech:

“After hearing all the great things I have heard here in your Jalsa, I would like to promise Amir Sahib that the love I have seen here, will not only accompany me in my daily life; rather, it will accompany me in my life as a judge as well. Moreover, even those people, who would stand before me in order to solve their different issues, they as well, will notice this love.”

In addition many dignitaries attended Jalsa Salana Kababir this year, including HE John David Masima, the ambassador of Tanzania; Mr  Mohammad Ka‘biyya, representing the office of the prime minister; Mr Mohammad Odah, representing the Palestinian Authority; Mr Sharbin Sitora, Vice General secretary for the International Baha‘i community and Mr Yona Yahav, former mayor of Haifa city.

This year’s Jalsa Salana had a wide media coverage too. Channel 13 is one of the most popular TV channels in the country; it has aired a TV report about Jalsa Salana. Similarly, an Arab TV channel, Shams broadcasted a report about Jalsa along with a short interview with Amir Sahib.

Kan Radio channel aired a 30-minute long interview with Amir Sahib. Newspapers such as newshaifakrayot.com and renunim.com also posted reports about Jalsa.

Alhamdulillah, this year’s Jalsa was a very successful one by the grace of Allah and due to the special prayers and attention of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaa.

We request all the readers to pray for Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Kababir and all the jamaats in the Arab world.

Recent tours of Ahmadi missionaries in Palestine (alhakam.org)

Recent tours of Ahmadi missionaries in Palestine

Imaduddin Al-Masri, Kababir

Shams-ud-Deen Malabari Sahib, Missionary-in-Charge Kababir, and I embarked on a three-day tarbiyati tour to visit members of Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Palestine.

The tour’s objectives were to visit the members of the Jamaat who had lost contact and to convey the message of Ahmadiyyat.

We visited brothers and sisters in the three main cities of Palestine and their surrounding villages. In addition, we conveyed the message of Ahmadiyyat to around 11 people, including the managers of two of the historical soap factories in Nablus. The total number of Ahmadis visited and communicated with during this tour was 19 families and 52 individuals.

After a few weeks, we went on another tour to visit brothers in Palestine. This tour lasted two days.

On the way to the house of an Ahmadi, we saw a mosque called Masjid-ul-Nabi Yunusas i.e. the mosque of the Prophet Yunusas. We asked the brother with us to park the car, and went down to see the mosque from the inside.

This mosque is believed to contain the tomb of Hazrat Yunusas and so we prayed at the grave, and then proceeded to the house of our Ahmadi brother.

On the way, we saw some children breaking stones on the street; I had no idea what they were doing. After passing by, we saw a group of Israeli soldiers standing by their big vehicles and blocking the road. I was shocked as I was seeing the people being so normal with the military presence and understood their struggle to live in such an area.

Nevertheless, we visited the house of Sadr Jamaat Palestine South, where a number of Ahmadi brothers had gathered.

The next day was a Friday. We organised a small gathering before the Jumuah prayer. I addressed the brothers on the 10 conditions of bai‘at outlined by the Promised Mesisahas and shed light on the fact that the main purpose of Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya was to increase the standard of taqwa and our relationship with Allah, rather than merely inclining towards philosophical and logical arguments in matters of faith.

After this short speech, Shams-ud-deen Sahib led us in Jumuah prayer.

Alhamdulillah, we were able to visit two houses, meet with 11 Ahmadi brothers and had discussions with four non-Ahmadi Muslim brothers – who belong to the same family – about Ahmadiyyat.

Ambassador of Tanzania visits Ahmadiyya Jamaat in Kababir, Haifa (alhakam.org)

Ambassador of Tanzania visits Ahmadiyya Jamaat in Kababir, Haifa

Imaduddin Al-Masri, Kababir

The Ahmadiyya Muslim mission in Kababir was established back in 1928 when Hazrat Maulana Jalaluddin Shams came and established a strong Jamaat in the area of Mount Carmel in Haifa.

Located on a high mountain near the sea is the Mahmood Mosque and the newly built Masroor Centre. Every year, thousands of guests from all over the world come to visit the mosque and the mission house in order to learn more about Islam Ahmadiyyat.

On 21 June 2021, HE Job Daudi Masima, the Ambassador of Tanzania in the Holy Land, came to visit the Ahmadiyya Muslim mission and Mahmood Mosque in Kababir, Haifa.

Muhammad Sharif Odeh Sahib, Amir Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Kababir and Shamsud Deen Malabari Sahib, Missionary-in-Charge, received the guests.

Amir Sahib took the ambassador on a tour around the mosque and the new Masroor Centre.

A short video was shown to the guests which introduced the activities of Hazrat Amirul Momineenaa and the worldwide Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya, it also included a short introduction of Humanity First and its different projects. The ambassador was touched to hear the motto of the Jamaat, “Love for all, hatred for none”.

Amir Sahib and the guests spoke about the importance of promoting peace and unity around the world. Amir Sahib said:

“We should try our best to help each other and be united despite the differences between us because none of us was asked in which house or family they wanted to be born”.

Later, Amir Sahib took the guests to visit the books exhibition, and the ambassador was overjoyed to see the Swahili translation of the Holy Quran. He took a copy and said that he wanted to present it to a high government official.

The tour included the Green Ahmadiyya School and MTA studios where a lot of recorded and live programmes are prepared for MTA3 Al-Arabiyya. His Excellency liked the fact that the children were taught how to plant trees and plants in the garden of the school, and how they were taught to recycle the plastic tools they stopped using such as water pipes.

Back in the mission house, the ambassador presented a souvenir from Tanzania with the sentence “Welcome to Tanzania” written on it, and Amir Sahib presented a number of books including the English and Swahili translations of the Holy Quran, The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam and World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace.
