Intro
Sharif Odeh is the head of the Ahmadiyya community in Israel since at least the year 2000. He is part of the famous Odeh family who accidentally converted to Ahmadiyya in the late 1920’s (1928 to be exact). He rose in the ranks of trusted Ahmadi’s in the late 1990’s, in fact, the jamaat at Kababir had imploded by 1998 (see the comments of Mirza Tahir Ahmad) and needed a new Ameer. Sharif Odeh was thus selected by Mirza Tahir Ahmad to be the main man in Israel and he was included in the election of the 5th Khalifa, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, in-fact, he claims to have gotten a dream about Mirza Masroor Ahmad in 2002 (an after-the-fact lie), see the full lie in the below. He claims that the man whom he thought was going to be the 5th Khalifa was not elected and the man that a Palestinian convert saw in his dream was Mirza Masroor Ahmad (See the full details in the below). He claims to have seen light coming from the face of Mirza Masroor Ahmad just a few minutes/hours before the election. Interestingly, he knew the famous ex-Ahmadi Hani Tahir very well and went to his house in Palestine in 2003 when he returned from this election. Many of his cousins have left Ahmadiyya, Hassan Bin Mahmood Odeh is the most famous (his brothers also left) and Ikrima Najami.
We are unsure of his qualifications, he doesn’t seem to have many. He recently gave an Arabic speech at the 2023 Jalsa Salana-Canada. His wife is Manal Odeh, the status of their children is unknown. They have at least 3 children together and always hung a photo of the current Khalifa in their house. They have 4 children, one daughter, Amatul-Hayy (the eldest) and 3 sons, Rana, and Salah Al-Din and the youngest Bashir al-Din Mahmoud Ahmad. Her uncle is, Professor Majed Odeh.
They had a small business, a shop. Manal Odeh also taught at the Ahmadiyya school in Kababir, their children used to play around the mosque’s courtyard Ahmadi mosque at Kababir) or at their grandparents’. By 2023, there are still barely 600 people living in the small area of Kababir, since more people simply can’t fit in such a small area. Most of the Ahmadi’s who lived in Kababir about 50 years ago have moved into the greater Haifa area. Haifa is about 5% Sunni Muslim, which is roughly 11,000 and Ahmadi’s are barely a few hundred. His cousin is Muad Odeh.
In July-2025, on “This Week With Huzoor”, there was a delegation from Kababir, Israel, they were there for the #2025UKJalsa. Maulvi Shams ud Din Malabari (from Malabar) can be seen, as well as Sharif Odeh.
In 2026 (Jun), Sharif Odeh and Musleh Shanboor held a conference wherein they were brainwashing innocent Arab children in Kababir, Haifa, Israel about Ahmadiyya. It was called Jamaat-e-Islami-Ahmadiya at Dar Al-Aman Center in the West Bank of Palestine from 9 to 12 June 2026, was concluded with the participation of 19 children and servants from different regions.

Sharif Odeh claims that a friend (Amjad Kameel) of his (an angelic friend), a new convert from the West Bank (from a recent incident that happened in Jenin). He told this convert in 2002 to come with him to the UK-Jalsa of 2002, he said this Palestinian had an expired Jordanian Passport and thus couldn’t get a visa to the UK. However, he told Sharif Odeh about a dream he had wherein he saw a new Khalifa (this entire story is a lie).

Mr Muhammad Sharif Odeh, Ameer of Kababir, Palestine, in his letter dated May 28, 2005 writes (the original letter is in Arabic, this translation is from its Urdu rendering):
“In May 2002 I recommended to a Palestinian friend (Amjad Kameel) that he should participate in the Jalsa Salana of UK of that year. He said that he would let me know after istikharah on this matter. A few days later he told me that in a dream he sees himself in London and is meeting the Khalifa but instead of Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad Sahib, some other person is the Khalifa. He proceeded to describe him as having a short beard, and described his eyes etc. I told him that I did not want to know, but understood it to be an indication of the demise of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV(rh). Soon I forgot all about it. In April 2003 when Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV(rh) passed away I was informed over the telephone by Mr Ataul Mujeeb Rashid about my membership in the Khilafat Committee. I was very nervous given the gravity of this task and involved myself in much prayer. When we reached London, and before the election were lined up for entering the mosque for the Maghrib and Isha Prayers I happened to look behind me and saw the individual whom I had the intention to vote for. I felt it inappropriate to be standing ahead of him so I left my spot and went to the rear. At that moment two individuals arrived, one was Chaudhary Hameedullah Sahib, and the other person I did not know. But his sight much impressed me and affected my heart like a current. I started wondering as to who was this person? I was so deeply moved with this thought that I doubted my very ability to survive. During the election proceedings I saw Mirza Masroor Ahmad and recognized him as the same person whose sight had touched my heart so profoundly. I raised my hand to vote for him and noticed that the majority had voted for him as well. At this my sentiments of deep anguish was suddenly lifted and I felt such happiness as I have never felt in all my life. Upon my return to Palestine I met Mr Amjad Kameel at the home of Mr Hani Tahir. He did not have MTA in his home and had not yet seen the picture of Huzoor. During that meeting I showed him the photograph of Huzoor, upon seeing it he blurted out that this was the same person he had seen in his dream. Even the coat and the chair were the same! I say to the doubters that if Allah does not appoint the Khalifa, then who showed Mr Amjad Kameel his image, and who is the one that made me leave my spot in the lines and led me to the rear where I saw the face which moved me so deeply, a person that was totally unknown to me?”
