After the publishing of the 4th volume of Braheen e Ahmadiyya in late 1884, MGA was called a Kafir by the leaders of the Ahl-e-hadith sect, who had just helped MGA marry an Ahl-e-Hadith girl. MGA was so bold, he began claiming that many verses of the Quran had been also revealed onto himself. In the Ahmadi quran’s it would be 10:17. For example, 10:16 claims:

“”””Say, ‘If Allah had so willed, I should not have recited it to you nor would He have made it known to you. I have indeed lived among you a whole lifetime before this. Will you not then understand?’””””

MGA claims 10:16 as for himself and Muhammad (Saw)
This is blasphemy. See Braheen e Ahmadiyya, vol. 4, page 392 online english edition.

ROR of June-1904
Maulvi Abdul Karim wrote an essay entitled, “The Sinless Prophet”, in this essay, he also quotes 10:16 and refers to the Barahin i Ahmadiyya, however, he doesn’t call it Brahin i Ahmadiyya vol. 4, he simply called it the Barahin i Ahmadiyya. He also claims that the verse says, “I have lived among you a great part of my life before my claim to prophethood”. However, this is incorrect. It should be:  “”I have indeed lived among you a whole lifetime before this.””, furthermore, this is the middle sentence of 3 sentences which compromise 10:16. Maulvi Abdul Karim seems to be negligent in reporting the proper wording of the verse.

MGA re-iterated this ilham in Nuzul ul Masih

“””It was about 1884 that God vouchsafed to me the revelation:

[Arabic] [I have lived a whole lifetime among you before this, then do you not understand?]

This was an indication on behalf of God the All-Knowing, that no opponent of mine would be able to point to any default in my life. Accordingly, up till now, when I am about sixty-five years of age, no one, whether living close to me or far from me, can point to any stain in my past life. Indeed God Himself has made my opponents bear witness to the purity of my past life. For instance, Maulavi Muhammad Husain has, on many occasions, praised me and the members of my family in his journal Isha’atus-Sunnah and has claimed that no one is better acquainted with me and my family than him. Then, to the extent that he understood, he praised me. In this way an opponent, who became the originator of my condemnation as a non-believer, has confirmed the truth of this prophecy [I have lived among you…].”””” [Nuzulul-Masih, p. 212, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 18, p. 590, printed and published in 1909, after MGA died](See also the 2009 online edition of Tadhkirah, page 112-113).
